Manor Lords cheats and cheat codes

Manor Lords has no official cheat console. Developer Slavic Magic did not add a code system to the game and has not said it will. Even so, there are two ways to make the game as easy as you like. The first needs no mods at all: Change the settings on the game's own setup screen. You can turn off raids, remove the rival lord from the map and start with double supplies. The second is to install a mod on PC and open a real console. We cover both separately below.

How do you open the cheat console?

Your choice is remembered

In Manor Lords the console does not come with the game, it is added by a mod. First you install RE-UE4SS, which adds a command interface to the Unreal engine, then the Console Commands mod, which teaches the game its commands. Once both are installed, the F10 key opens the console in game. If you do not want to install mods, skip this section and look at the game setup settings below; you do not need to install anything for those.

F10 opens the console
  1. Download the latest version of RE-UE4SS and extract its files into the game's Binaries > Win64 folder.
  2. Download the Console Commands mod from Nexus Mods and follow its own install instructions.
  3. Start the game and load a save.
  4. Press F10 and the console window opens.
  5. Type the command and press Enter. Commands start with k. and are case-sensitive.

Back up your save files before installing mods. Mods can break after game updates, and in that case you may need to remove them until the mod is updated.

F10

The key that opens the console is F10. It only works after RE-UE4SS and the Console Commands mod are installed; on a clean install nothing happens.

  • These commands are not a feature of the game itself, they come from a mod. There is no official support.
  • Mods only work on the PC version.
  • Because the game is in early access, updates can break the mod. The commands can also change from version to version.
  • After opening the console, type k.printConsoleCommands and the mod prints its own command list on screen. The most up-to-date list is always there.

Common questions

Does Manor Lords have cheat codes?
Not in the game itself. Developer Slavic Magic did not add a console or code system. But you can lower the difficulty as far as you like with the settings on the new game screen, and on PC you can install a mod to open a real command console.
Can I make the game easier without mods?
Yes, quite a lot easier. When you set up a new game you can turn off raids, remove the rival lord from the map, set the number of bandit camps to zero, start with double supplies and make the weather harmless. All of these settings are the game's own options.
Which mods do I need for the console?
You need both. RE-UE4SS adds the command interface to the Unreal engine, and the Console Commands mod teaches the game the commands. With both installed, F10 opens the console.
Which key opens the console?
F10. But if the mods are not installed, pressing this key does nothing, because a clean install of the game has no console.
Why do the commands start with k.?
That is the mod's own namespace. All of its commands are defined with the k. prefix, so you need to type the dot as well when you enter them in the console.
Will installing a mod break my save?
The safest thing is to back up your save files before installing a mod. Because the game is in early access, updates can break the mod, and in that case you may need to remove it until the mod is updated.
Which commands does the console have, and where is the full list?
Open the console and type k.printConsoleCommands, and the mod prints its own list with descriptions. The mod has more than a hundred commands; on this page we collected the most useful ones.
Does the console work on Xbox or other console versions?
No. Installing mods is only possible on the PC version. The game setup settings, on the other hand, are available wherever you play.
Is it a good idea to use a trainer?
A trainer does the job for simple things like treasury and resources, but the mod console does much more. If you do use a trainer, be careful where you download it from, because these programs ask for deep access to your system.
