Manor Lords: Population and families

These commands manage the people side of your village. In Manor Lords the population grows slowly depending on approval and free housing, and these commands skip that wait. The disease command is useful during outbreaks: Instead of waiting for families to recover one by one, you clear the whole region at once.

Most codes here need cheats turned on first. See the section on how to open the console.

Raises the number of people in the region. Add a number after it and it adds that many people.

PC

Brings a new family to the region

k.spawnNewFamily

Population and families: Common questions

Does spawning a family need housing?
The command spawns the family, but if there is no house for them to live in, approval drops. It is healthier to build housing before you grow the population.
Is the population command the same as the family command?
No. The population command raises the number of people in the region, while the family command brings in a new household that can work. What production really needs is the number of families.
What does spawning a family at the cursor change?
It places the family at the point where your mouse rests instead of a random spot. Handy when you want to fill a particular neighborhood.
