Euro Truck Simulator 2 players will be able to take their rigs to Iceland starting November 10, 2026. SCS Software announced the release date for the Iceland DLC alongside a new video trailer, published on the studio’s YouTube channel.
According to details Oyun Günlüğü relayed from SCS Software’s official blog, the studio describes the island as “a land shaped by fire, ice, and the forces of nature.” The expansion aims to capture that variety, putting players behind the wheel among towering volcanoes, vast ice fields, dramatic coastlines, black sand beaches and powerful waterfalls.
Reykjavík, Akureyri and the Ring Road
The map features 14 cities and settlements, including Reykjavík and Akureyri. Routes follow Iceland’s iconic Ring Road, linking busy urban areas, quiet settlements, rugged coastlines and the island’s more remote corners.
Along the way, drivers will pass some of the country’s best-known natural landmarks, including Jökulsárlón, Goðafoss, Gullfoss, Seljalandsfoss, Víkurfjara, Geysir and Þingvellir. Roads wind past mountains, across open plains and volcanic fields, and between towering cliffs.
Single-lane bridges and a silica factory
Iceland also introduces narrow single-lane bridges, where drivers have to give way to oncoming vehicles. SCS Software says the feature adds a new layer of realism and care to every journey.
On the cargo side, the DLC brings its own set of industries and delivery opportunities, from custom-made farms and quarries to a distinctive silica factory in Húsavík.
Northern Lights after dark
The skies get attention too. Under the right conditions, the Northern Lights can illuminate the landscape at night, while in-game daylight hours will accurately reflect Iceland’s real-world timing.
The Euro Truck Simulator 2: Iceland DLC is available to wishlist on Steam ahead of launch.
