GTA 6 cheats and cheat codes
There are no GTA 6 cheat codes yet, because the game has not come out. We have opened this page early and will fill it with verified codes from launch day onward. Every GTA 6 cheat code going around online right now is made up, and some of them try to get you to download harmful programs. Below we have gathered what you need to know until the game comes out.
How do you open the cheat console?
Your choice is rememberedThe GTA 6 cheat system has not been announced yet. The section below explains how GTA 5, the latest game in the series, works. GTA 6 is expected to follow a similar path, but this is a guess, not confirmed information.
- In GTA 5 on PC, the console opens with a single key and codes are typed as letters.
- A similar method is expected in GTA 6, but Rockstar has not announced anything yet.
- We will add the verified method to this page on the day the game comes out.
Since the PC version will come out after the console versions, PC codes may also be confirmed later.
- In GTA 5 on consoles, there are two methods, dialing a number on the phone and entering a button sequence.
- The phone is expected to be used in GTA 6 too, because it plays a central role in the game.
- We will add the confirmed method here on launch day.
By series tradition, using cheats disables trophies on that save.

Why is this page here already?
Every code going around right now is fake
There can be no cheat codes before the game is out. Videos and sites that claim to share GTA 6 codes are either chasing views or trying to get you to download a program. Do not download anything from any of them.
Codes are expected to be entered by phone
In GTA 5 you can enter codes by dialing a number on the phone, and this method works on every platform. Since the phone plays an even more central role in GTA 6, the same route is expected to stay. The details will be confirmed at launch.
Cheats will most likely disable achievements
In Rockstar games, using cheats disables achievements and trophies on that save. We expect the same rule to carry over to GTA 6, so if you are going for achievements, keeping a separate save makes sense.
Codes will not work online
In every game in the series, cheat codes only work in the single-player story. Trying to use cheats online gets your account banned, and GTA 6 will be no different.
This page will fill up on launch day
As soon as the game comes out, we will test and verify the codes ourselves and add them here category by category. We never put a code on the page without verifying it.
In the meantime, check out the GTA 5 archive
29 GTA 5 codes, 43 GTA Vice City codes and 51 San Andreas codes are ready and waiting in the archive. They are all sorted into categories and copy with a single click.
