Oyun Günlüğü aims to present news, reviews, guides, commentary and cultural analysis about video games to its readers in an impartial, accurate and clear way. As much as games are entertaining, they are also cultural products that deserve to be thought about. Our publishing reflects this approach.

We take care to ensure that all of our content provides accurate and up-to-date information. When errors are noticed, the content is updated transparently with an edit or a correction note.
People or companies mentioned in news stories are given the right to comment whenever possible.
Rumor content is only published if it has reliable grounds. Rumors confirmed through our own sources are verified by at least two separate sources.
Anonymous sources are protected with confidentiality. Sources are never paid in any way.
Information taken from other sources is clearly attributed and linked.
Non-disclosure agreements (NDAs) with developers are only accepted in ways that do not affect editorial independence. - Reviews and product provision
Products such as games, hardware or peripherals may be provided free of charge for preview or review purposes. This is always clearly stated below the content.
Travel and accommodation costs for events or studio visits may be covered by publishers. This is also disclosed transparently within the content.
Our content is never pre-approved or altered by any publisher, developer or external stakeholder.
- Ethics and relationships
Our editors and writers maintain their independence while building professional relationships with the games industry.
In the event of a potential conflict of interest with companies they have previously worked with, the writer in question is kept away from content related to that company for at least two years.
- Ownership and affiliations
The editorial team works independently of commercial activities.
We may have ties with other media brands, but this does not affect the independence of our content.
- Advertising and sponsored content
Advertising and sponsored content are managed by an advertising department that operates completely separately from the editorial team. Editors are not aware of advertising deals and produce their content without being influenced by such agreements.
Some content may include affiliate links. The site may earn revenue from purchases made through these links. This is arranged in a way that does not affect the user experience.
Sponsored content is always labeled, and who funded it is stated. This content is published in a way that does not conflict with our editorial values.

Oyun Günlüğü tracks and shares promo codes that can earn readers in-game rewards. All codes are tested before publication and updated regularly.
