Consists of a four-hit Aero combo, a Stamina-consuming Heavy Attack, a powerful diving kick from midair and a Dodge Counter. Hits fill Chi, her Forte resource.
Wuthering Waves · 5★ Resonator
"Cleansing Reflections" A calm martial artist who follows the way of the Tao
Jianxin is a calm martial arts master who follows the teachings of the Tao and treasures her inner peace; she is affiliated with Jinzhou. She is a standard 5★ Resonator who wields Gauntlets with the Aero element. Her attacks build Chi, and while she spends that Chi through her Forte Circuit, she becomes resistant to interruption and gains a shield; as long as the shield lasts, the active character is healed at regular intervals. Her Resonance Liberation creates a wind field that pulls enemies toward its center. Her real value lies in her Outro: It amplifies the next character's Resonance Liberation damage by 38% for 14 s, so she is played as a support next to Liberation-based DPS units.
Jianxin is a standard 5★ Resonator and is not tied to any specific banner. She can come from the permanent Tidal Chorus banner, which you pull with Lustrous Tides, from losing the 50/50 on limited character banners, and from the Beginner's Choice Convene that new players can use once (the 5★ you pick is guaranteed within 80 pulls). On Tidal Chorus a 5★ is also guaranteed every 80 pulls, but you cannot choose which character you get.
2-piece: Energy Regen + {0}.
5-piece: Upon using Outro Skill, increases the ATK of the next Resonator by 22.5% for 15s.
Increases the next character's ATK by 22.5% after the Outro and combines with Jianxin's 38% Liberation buff to give the main DPS a double boost; the 2-piece's Energy Regen also covers her high energy needs.
2-piece: Aero DMG + 10%.
5-piece: Aero DMG + 30% for 15s after releasing Intro Skill.
If you play Jianxin for her own damage, Sierra Gale, which grants 30% Aero DMG after the Intro, provides more personal damage.
When its Echo Skill hits, it grants 10 Resonance Energy, and if the Outro is used within 15 s, the next character's damage increases by 12%; ideal for the energy-hungry Jianxin.
Jianxin's Liberation is expensive; raise Energy Regen to around 140% at S0 so you can use it every rotation, and run Energy Regen on the 3-cost Echoes if needed. Past that threshold, stack crit stats and ATK%.
Xiangli Yao's signature weapon. 24.3% Crit. Rate, a 12% elemental DMG bonus and 48% Resonance Liberation DMG Bonus after Liberation make it the option that boosts Jianxin's own damage the most.
Its 36% Crit. Rate main stat, the Liberation damage it grants after an Intro or Liberation and a DEF ignore bonus that stacks as she gains shields make it a great fit for the shield-building Jianxin.
The standard banner's 5★ Gauntlets. Its 36.45% ATK main stat and Energy Regen passive make it a safe choice for the energy-hungry Jianxin.
The best 4★, with a 51.84% Energy Regen main stat and Concerto Energy refunds from her Resonance Skill; it gets the Outro ready faster and is tailor-made for a support build.
A 4★ with a Crit. Rate main stat that grants Resonance Liberation DMG Bonus after a Resonance Skill; for players who want to raise Jianxin's Liberation damage.
Totals are calculated from game data: Every ascension stage from 1→90, skills 1→10 and every skill tree node.
Consists of a four-hit Aero combo, a Stamina-consuming Heavy Attack, a powerful diving kick from midair and a Dodge Counter. Hits fill Chi, her Forte resource.
Holding Resonance Skill puts her into Parry Stance; if she is attacked during it, she takes no damage and immediately strikes back with Chi Counter. Releasing the button cancels the stance into Chi Parry; using the skill and landing hits both grant Chi.
When Chi reaches 120, hold Basic Attack to start Primordial Chi Spiral and enter Zhoutian Progress: She becomes resistant to interruption, takes 50% less damage and fires Chi Strikes around her as she spends Chi. The higher the Zhoutian stage she reaches, the stronger the shield she gains, and while the shield lasts, the active character is healed every 6 s. Releasing the button early stops the progress and loses all remaining Chi.
Creates a powerful wind field that keeps pulling the enemies inside toward its center while dealing Aero damage, then hits them again with a burst as the field fades. Ideal for grouping small packs of enemies; the pull is weaker on heavy enemies.
Pulls enemies in range toward her on entry, dealing Aero damage and granting Chi. Opening the rotation with the Intro both groups enemies and gives her Forte a quick start.
The incoming character's Resonance Liberation damage is amplified by 38% (Amplify) for 14 s or until they leave the field. This buff is Jianxin's real value to the team.
The damage of the Resonance Liberation Purification Force Field increases by 20%, so the enemy group you pull together takes a harder blast.
The shield from the Heavy Attack Primordial Chi Spiral is 20% stronger, which makes survival in tough content noticeably easier.
When the target's Off-Tune level is full, Jianxin can perform the Gauntlets-specific Tune Break attack. It is a mechanic shared by all Resonators that opens an extra damage window on the staggered enemy.
Jianxin's contribution to the team comes from her Outro and shield, so she does her job even at S0. S1 and S2 speed up her rotation, while S4 greatly increases her Liberation damage and gives the biggest jump to players who use her for her own damage.
For 10 s after the Intro Skill, Basic Attacks generate 100% more Chi, so you fill your Forte much faster.
Resonance Skill Calming Air can be used one more time.
After she stays in Parry Stance for 2.5 s, Chi Counter becomes available immediately, so you can counterattack without waiting to be hit.
Using Primordial Chi Spiral increases Purification Force Field's damage by 80% for 14 s.
Purification Force Field's area of effect expands by 33%, making it easier to group enemies.
If you perform Pushing Punch during Zhoutian Progress, you can use Special Chi Counter once within 5 s: It deals Aero damage equal to 556.67% of ATK that counts as a Heavy Attack and grants the strongest (level 4) Zhoutian shield.
Iuno
Jianxin
Rover (Aero)
Iuno's Flux attacks count as Resonance Liberation damage, so she makes full use of Jianxin's 38% Outro buff; Rover (Aero) heals and supports the team.
Xiangli Yao
Jianxin
Shorekeeper
Xiangli Yao is a Liberation-heavy Electro DPS, and Jianxin's Outro makes his damage window hit harder; Shorekeeper provides healing and a crit bonus.

Jianxin is a standard 5★: She can come from the permanent Tidal Chorus banner, from losing the 50/50 on limited banners or from the Beginner's Choice Convene for new players. If you pick her in Beginner's Choice, she is guaranteed within 80 pulls.
As a support, 5-piece Moonlit Clouds is the best; it increases the next character's ATK by 22.5% after the Outro. Use Impermanence Heron as your main Echo; Bell-Borne Geochelone is also a good alternative.
She has no signature weapon; the best options are Verity's Handle and Moongazer's Sigil. The standard 5★ Abyss Surges and, on the 4★ side, Marcato (which grants Energy Regen) and Stonard are good alternatives.
She is not at the top of today's meta; her own damage is low and her pull weakens against heavy enemies. Still, with her 38% Liberation buff, shield and healing, she is a useful support next to Liberation-based DPS units.
She works best with DPS units that rely on Resonance Liberation damage: Iuno + Jianxin + Rover (Aero) or Xiangli Yao + Jianxin + Shorekeeper are strong options. If you want to build entirely with standard banner characters, Calcharo + Jianxin + Verina also works well.
For Ascension she needs Roaring Rock Fist from Feilian Beringal, Lanternberry and Whisperin Cores. Her skills use the Cadence series, Whisperin Cores and the weekly material Unending Destruction from Scar.
