"Bambooscape" The blind swordsman who sees through a bamboo forest
Qiuyuan is a former senior agent of Mingting's Internal Security Agency; after being made the scapegoat for a murder, he became a blind swordsman who wanders the world alone. Although he cannot see, his Mindsight ability lets him perceive his surroundings through a bamboo forest in his mind. He wields a Sword with the Aero element; he builds Swordster's Soliloquy to unlock his Thus Spoke the Blade attacks, which count as Heavy Attacks, and the last three hits in Inksplash of Mind also count as Echo Skill casts. His Outro gives 50% Echo Skill DMG Amplification and his Liberation gives the team Crit. DMG, which makes him the indispensable sub DPS for Echo Skill-focused DPS like Galbrena and Sigrika.
Qiuyuan is a limited 5★ Resonator and can only be pulled with Radiant Tide while his banner is active. He first arrived on October 30, 2025 with the "Wanderer Knows No Far and Near" banner in the second phase of Version 2.7, and got a rerun alongside Sigrika's release in the first phase of Version 3.2 (March 19 to April 9, 2026). You are guaranteed a 5★ within 80 pulls, and your first 5★ has a 50% chance of being the featured character.
3-piece: Casting Echo Skill grants {0} Heavy Attack DMG Bonus to the caster for {1}s.<br>Additionally, all Resonators in the team gain {2} Echo Skill DMG Bonus for {4}s, stacking up to {3} times. Echoes of the same name can only trigger this effect once. The record of Echo triggering this effect is cleared along with this effect. At {3} stacks, casting Echo Skill again resets the duration of this effect.
Thus Spoke the Blade hits count as Echo Skill casts, so the set constantly boosts both Qiuyuan's Heavy Attack damage and the whole team's Echo Skill damage.

For the two slots next to Law of Harmony: Aero DMG +10%.
2-piece: Energy Regen + {0}.
5-piece: Upon using Outro Skill, increases the ATK of the next Resonator by 22.5% for 15s.
In hypercarry teams where you pass every buff to a single main DPS, 5-piece Moonlit Clouds with Impermanence Heron contributes more.

5-piece: Aero DMG + 30% for 15s after releasing Intro Skill.
If you play an S3 or higher Qiuyuan as the main DPS, 5-piece Sierra Gale with Nightmare: Feilian Beringal maximizes his personal damage.

In the main slot it grants 12% Aero DMG and a 12% Heavy Attack DMG Bonus; it counts toward the Law of Harmony set, so it also completes the 3-piece bonus.
Reach at least 65% Crit. Rate: His Liberation gives the team 2% Crit. DMG for every 1% Crit. Rate above 50% and hits the 30% cap at 65%. Aim for 130% Energy Regen to cast Liberation every rotation within his short field time; the Echo layout is 4-3-3-1-1.
Signature weapon. Grants 24.3% Crit. Rate and 12% ATK; after Intro it gives the whole team a 20% Echo Skill DMG Bonus for 30 s, and Echo Skill casts grant a 30% Heavy Attack DMG Bonus that stacks up to 2 times.
The standard 5★ Sword; its 24.3% Crit. Rate main stat and Energy Regen bonus make the 65% Crit. Rate and 130% Energy Regen targets easier to reach.
Camellya's signature weapon; a strong stat stick with 24.3% Crit. Rate and 12% ATK, while its Basic Attack-focused passive does little for Qiuyuan.
The best 4★ option: It grants Basic and Heavy Attack DMG Bonus for 10 s after Resonance Skill, and its ATK% main stat is useful too.
A good 4★ alternative with an ATK bonus that stacks as he deals damage and extra Crit. Rate at 10 stacks.
A 4★ that grants ATK for 15 s after Intro Skill; Qiuyuan enters every rotation with Intro, so it stays active all the time.

Totals are calculated from game data: Every ascension stage from 1→90, skills 1→10 and every skill tree node.
Consists of a three-hit Aero combo and a Heavy Attack that costs Stamina; a Basic Attack after Heavy Attack moves to the 4th stage of Inkwash. Shortly after a Basic or Heavy Attack, he is unaffected by the first incoming hit and responds with an automatic Dodge Counter that counts as Heavy Attack damage.
Dashes forward and deals Aero damage that counts as Echo Skill damage. If used at the moment of an enemy attack, he is unaffected by that hit, halts nearby enemies (Stagnation) and is immune to interruption for the duration of the skill. Holding it uses Undaunted Wayfarer, spending Stamina to dash a long distance through the air.
He builds up to 600 Swordster's Soliloquy: At 200, Basic Attack turns into Thus Spoke the Blade: Inkwash, which counts as a Heavy Attack; at 400, Bamboo's Shade gives the whole team a 30% Echo Skill DMG Bonus for 30 s. At 600 he enters Inksplash of Mind for 8 s and performs the To Teach, To Save, To Sacrifice strikes by holding Heavy Attack; these deal Heavy Attack damage and count as Echo Skill casts.
Deals Aero damage that counts as Echo Skill damage to targets in range. For every 1% of Qiuyuan's Crit. Rate above 50%, nearby team members' Crit. DMG rises by 2% for 30 s (up to 30%); that is why 65% Crit. Rate is the target.
Deals Aero damage that counts as a Heavy Attack on entry and grants 400 Swordster's Soliloquy. Right after, you can press Basic Attack to move to the 3rd stage of Inkwash; after two Basic Attacks, his Forte is completely full.
Deals Aero damage equal to 100% of his ATK to the target, counted as Echo Skill damage. The next character gains 50% Echo Skill DMG Amplification for 14 s (or until they leave the field); this is the core buff of Echo Skill teams.
Entering Inksplash of Mind grants Quietude Within for 10 s (once every 22 s): To Teach, To Save and To Sacrifice deal 50% more damage, and a To Sacrifice hit also grants 30 Concerto Energy. The effect ends early if you switch characters.
When he uses Echo Skill, his bamboo flask turns the overflowing energy into Flowing Panacea. It is consumed the next time he gains Swordster's Soliloquy, and Qiuyuan gains 10% ATK for 20 s.
When the target's Off-Tune level is full, Qiuyuan can perform the Sword-specific Tune Break attack. A mechanic shared by all Resonators that opens an extra damage window on the staggered enemy.
If you play him as a sub DPS, S2 is the most efficient stopping point, since it noticeably boosts the Echo Skill buff he gives the team. S3 takes Qiuyuan to a level where he can be a main DPS on his own; S4 is a weak in-between step.
Thus Spoke the Blade hits become immune to interruption and Crit. Rate rises by 20%; reaching the 65% Crit. Rate target gets easier.
Bamboo's Shade also gives the team an extra 30% Echo Skill DMG Amplification; the biggest support jump for a sub DPS Qiuyuan.
Liberation's multiplier increases by 500%; when Concerto is full, Resonance Skill turns into Straw Cape in Drizzly Rain once every 20 s, which deals damage equal to 500% of his ATK, grants 400 Soliloquy and adds an extra 600% multiplier to the following Thus Spoke the Blade hits. This is the Sequence that turns Qiuyuan into a main DPS.
ATK increases by 20%.
Qiuyuan ignores 15% of the target's DEF when dealing damage.
To Sacrifice halts nearby targets for 5 s; when Inksplash of Mind ends, if he is on the field, he deals area damage equal to 600% of his ATK, and after Straw Cape in Drizzly Rain he gains 100% Crit. DMG for 6 s.

His signature weapon Emerald Sentence is by far the best; it gives the team an Echo Skill DMG Bonus and raises his own Heavy Attack damage. Alternatives are Emerald of Genesis and Red Spring, and Lumingloss and Commando of Conviction as 4★ options.
He is one of the strongest sub DPS and supports in Echo Skill teams; his Outro and team buffs multiply the damage of these teams. His own damage is limited at S0, but with S3 he also works as a main DPS in a team with Iuno and Shorekeeper.
Galbrena + Qiuyuan + Shorekeeper and Sigrika + Qiuyuan + Shorekeeper are the strongest Echo Skill teams. You can also build a Havoc-focused Echo Skill lineup with Phrolova and Cantarella.
Ascension needs Truth in Lies from Fenrico, Wintry Bell and the Whisperin Core series. Skill upgrades use the Metallic Drip series, Whisperin Core and the weekly material Curse of the Abyss from Threnodian Leviathan.
