Who is Phrolova?
Phrolova is a musician who once played the violin in a small town, later became one of the Fractsidus Overseers, and in the end left the organization to choose her own path. She wields a Rectifier with the Havoc element and has no Resonance Energy at all: She builds six Volatile Notes with Basic Attack and Resonance Skill, unlocks her Liberation with Scarlet Coda, and in the 24 s Maestro state her ATK rises by 120% while Hecate does the fighting. Hecate's attacks count as Echo Skill damage, and while Phrolova is off the field, her teammates' Echo Skills trigger Hecate; that is why she shines with Echo Skill supports like Cantarella and Qiuyuan.

Echo set
Dream of the Lost3-piece
3-piece: Holding {0} Resonance Energy increases Crit. Rate by {1} and grants {2} Echo Skill DMG Bonus.
Grants 20% Crit. Rate and 35% Echo Skill DMG while Resonance Energy is 0; Phrolova's energy is always 0, so it is permanently active. Thanks to the set's Crit. Rate, you can prioritize Crit. DMG on your Echoes.
Havoc Eclipse2-piece
2-piece: Havoc DMG + 10%.
Together with 3-piece Dream of the Lost, this is the best combination in a 4-3-3-1-1 layout.
Lingering TunesAlternative · 2-piece
2-piece: ATK +10%
If you use 2-piece Lingering Tunes instead of Havoc Eclipse, you get 10% ATK instead of 10% Havoc DMG; pick whichever set your well-rolled Echoes belong to.
Havoc EclipseAlternative · 5-piece
2-piece: Havoc DMG + 10%.
5-piece: Havoc DMG + 7.5% after releasing Basic Attack or Heavy Attack. This effect stacks up to 4 times, each stack lasts 15s.
If you don't have Dream of the Lost Echoes yet, use 5-piece Havoc Eclipse in the early game; it works well with Nightmare: Crownless as the main Echo.

Its Echo Skill lands a three-stage Havoc strike; in the main slot it grants 12% Havoc DMG and a 20% Echo Skill DMG Bonus, and it is also part of the Dream of the Lost set.
Phrolova's Resonance Energy is 0, so she has no need for Energy Regen at all. Dream of the Lost and her signature weapon give high Crit. Rate, so be careful not to go over 100% and prioritize Crit. DMG.

Phrolova skills
Normal Attack
Movement of Life and Death
A three-hit Havoc combo; the 3rd hit puts Phrolova into the Reincarnate state. In the Compose state, which she enters once every 25 s, Heavy Attack turns into Scarlet Coda if she has 6 Volatile Notes: This strike counts as Resonance Skill damage and as an Echo Skill cast, pulls enemies in and Stagnates them, grows stronger with Aftersound stacks and unlocks Resolving Chord.
Resonance Skill
Whispers in a Fleeting Dream
Deals Havoc damage to the target and puts Phrolova into the Reincarnate state. On hit, it grants 1 Volatile Note - Winds.
Forte Circuit
Rhapsody of a New World
In Reincarnate, Basic Attack turns into Movement of Fate and Finality, which Stagnates the target, and Resonance Skill turns into Murmurs in a Haunting Dream; both count as Resonance Skill damage and grant Volatile Notes. She holds up to 6 Volatile Notes; while she is off the field, Hecate's enhanced attacks grant Aftersound stacks (up to 24).
Resonance Liberation
Waltz of Forsaken Depths
Costs no Resonance Energy; it is used during Resolving Chord after Scarlet Coda and puts Phrolova into the 24 s Maestro state: ATK rises by 120%, Hecate fights in her place as she plays her Volatile Notes in order, and its attacks count as Echo Skill damage. When Phrolova leaves the field, her teammates' Echo Skills make Hecate perform enhanced attacks (up to 10 times); Curtain Call ends Maestro.
Intro Skill
Suite of Quietus
Deals Havoc damage on entry; pressing Normal Attack right away skips to the 3rd hit. During Maestro, the next Intro turns into Suite of Immortality, which counts as Resonance Skill damage and Stagnates the target.
Outro Skill
Unfinished Piece
The next character's Havoc damage is amplified by 20% and Heavy Attack damage by 25% (Amplify); the effect lasts 14 s or until the character is switched out. If you use Outro during Maestro, Hecate performs 2 extra enhanced attacks within the same Maestro duration.
Inherent Skill
Accidental
Using Echo Skill raises her interruption resistance and reduces the damage she takes by 30% for 15 s. The first Volatile Note after Suite of Quietus, Suite of Immortality or Echo Skill turns into Cadenza.
Inherent Skill
Octet
She gains 10 Aftersound stacks when entering combat, and each stack gives 2.5% Crit. DMG (60% at 24 stacks). Each new Aftersound gained while the stacks are full gives an extra 1% Crit. DMG (up to 100%); this bonus is lost when the stacks are cleared.
Tune Break
Tune Break: Rectifier
When the target's Off-Tune level is full, Phrolova can perform the Rectifier-specific Tune Break attack. A shared mechanic that opens an extra damage window on the staggered enemy.
Phrolova sequences (Resonance Chain)
She is a strong main DPS at S0; aim for her signature weapon Lethean Elegy first. On the Sequence side, S3, which amplifies Echo Skill damage by 80%, is one of the clearest jumps, while S6 pushes her damage ceiling way up.
S1
A Key to Netherworld's Secrets
The multipliers of Movement of Fate and Finality and Murmurs in a Haunting Dream increase by 80%; after waiting 4 s outside combat, her Volatile Notes are topped up to at least 2 with Cadenza.
S2
A Rope Tied to a Life Beyond
Scarlet Coda's multiplier increases by 75%, the bonus that Aftersound stacks add to Coda rises by an extra 75%, and Coda grants 14 Aftersound stacks.
S3
A Dagger to Cut Clean Obsessions
Echo Skill damage is amplified by 80% (Amplify); Scarlet Coda turns all Volatile Notes into Cadenza, and targets hit by Hecate: Cadenza have their ATK reduced by 20% for 15 s.
S4
A Torch Illuminating the Path
Using Echo Skill gives the whole team a 20% Attribute DMG Bonus for 30 s.
S5
A Forked Road in Fate's Heartland
Entering Maestro creates a field that Stagnates nearby targets for 4 s; damage taken during Maestro is reduced by 30%.
S6
A Night to Depart From Eternal Rest
The multiplier of Enhanced Attack - Hecate increases by 24%; during Movement of Fate and Finality and Murmurs in a Haunting Dream, Hecate deals an extra hit equal to 216.42% of her ATK and grants 8 Aftersound. In Maestro, if she is off the field, targets take 40% more damage from Hecate and Phrolova; if she is on the field, she gains a 60% Havoc DMG Bonus.
Qiuyuan gives the team a 30% Echo Skill DMG Bonus and, with his Outro, a 50% Echo Skill Amplify; Cantarella's skills that count as Echo Skills trigger Hecate while healing the team.
Danjin's Outro amplifies Havoc damage by 23%, and Buling heals the team and raises the whole team's damage by 15%; an accessible lineup built with 4★ supports.

Phrolova tips
While preparing for Liberation, mix the 3rd Basic Attack and Resonance Skills to collect 6 Volatile Notes; in Maestro the notes are played in order, and each note determines a different enhanced attack from Hecate.
You can only use Scarlet Coda in the Compose state with 6 notes; Coda counts as an Echo Skill cast, so it also triggers the Accidental passive.
After entering Maestro, switch Phrolova out: Each different Echo Skill from your teammates makes Hecate perform an enhanced attack (up to 10 times), and these attacks fill Aftersound.
If you bring Phrolova back without Intro during Maestro, Maestro ends with Curtain Call; plan your switches so you don't close the damage window early.
Don't invest in Energy Regen at all: Phrolova's Resonance Energy is 0, and her Liberation is unlocked by Scarlet Coda, not by energy.
Common questions
How do you get Phrolova?
Phrolova is a limited 5★ Resonator and can only be pulled with Radiant Tide while her banner is active. She first arrived in Version 2.5 with the "Requiem Without End" banner and got reruns in the second phases of 2.8 and 3.3.
What is the best Echo set for Phrolova?
3-piece Dream of the Lost + 2-piece Havoc Eclipse is the best combination; since her energy is always 0, the 20% Crit. Rate and 35% Echo Skill DMG bonus from Dream of the Lost are permanently active. Use Nightmare: Hecate as the main Echo.
What is Phrolova's best weapon?
Her signature weapon Lethean Elegy is by far the best; after Echo Skill damage, it raises both Resonance Skill and Echo Skill damage. Alternatives are Stringmaster, Whispers of Sirens and Cosmic Ripples, and on the budget side Augment.
Why doesn't Phrolova use Energy Regen?
Phrolova's maximum Resonance Energy is 0; her Liberation, Waltz of Forsaken Depths, costs no energy and is unlocked after Scarlet Coda. That is why Energy Regen gives her nothing; in substats, focus on crit stats and Resonance Skill DMG Bonus.
Which team should you build for Phrolova?
The strongest lineup is Phrolova + Qiuyuan + Cantarella. If you don't have Qiuyuan, Roccia is a good alternative, and for a budget-friendly team, Danjin and Buling.
What materials does Phrolova use?
Ascension needs Truth in Lies from Fenrico, the local specialty "Afterlife" and Polygon Cores. Skill upgrades use the Helix series, Polygon Core and the weekly material The Netherworld's Stare from Hecate; the full list with quantities is in the materials section.
