Who is Jingran?

Jingran is a Nethermancer from Mengzhou: A lone explorer who roams mirage realms and forgotten ruins, bound to no sect or doctrine. He wields a Broadblade with the Fusion element, switching between the Yin Vessel and Yang Font stances to build Qi and unleashing it with big Heavy Attacks. His DEF is permanently 0; he draws his power from Max HP and grows his damage with the Ghost Shroud he builds up as he gains shields. He is the newest main DPS of Version 3.6.

How to get Jingran

Jingran is a limited 5★ Resonator; he arrived in the second phase of Version 3.6 (September 10-29, 2026) with the "Where Santu Beckons" banner. He does not drop from the standard banner, so you can only pull him with Radiant Tide while his banner is active; a 5★ is guaranteed within 80 pulls, and your first 5★ has a 50% chance to be the featured character. His signature weapon, Thousandfold Deliverance, was on the weapon banner during the same period.

2-piece: HP + {0}

5-piece: Upon gaining a Shield, gain {0} increase in Crit. Rate for {2}s, max {1} stacks. This effect can be triggered every {3}s. At max stacks, gain {4} Fusion DMG Bonus.

The 2-piece gives HP +10%; the Crit. Rate that stacks as he gains shields and the 15% Fusion DMG at max stacks are a perfect fit for Jingran, who gains shields constantly.

Its Echo Skill deals Fusion DMG based on Max HP; in the main slot it provides 12% Fusion DMG and 12% Heavy Attack DMG Bonus.

With his signature weapon, the 4-4-1-1-1 layout (two crit 4-costs + three HP% 1-costs) is usually recommended; aim for 50,000+ HP and 120-125% Energy Regen at Lv 90. Jingran's DEF is 0, so DEF substats are completely wasted.

Best weapons for Jingran

  1. 1 Thousandfold Deliverance
Thousandfold Deliverance 5★ · Signature weapon

Signature weapon. Its 72.2% HP main stat makes the high HP threshold easier to reach; with Crit. DMG that stacks from shields and Intros, plus Heavy Attack Crit. Rate and DEF ignore bonuses, it is by far the best.

  2. 2 Thunderflare Dominion
    Thunderflare Dominion 5★

Augusta's signature weapon; a strong alternative with a Crit. Rate main stat and a Heavy Attack DMG bonus after an Intro or Resonance Skill, but it makes the HP target harder to reach.

  3. 3 Verdant Summit
    Verdant Summit 5★

Jiyan's signature weapon; its Crit. DMG main stat and stacking Heavy Attack DMG Bonus passive also work on Jingran.

  4. 4 Aureate Zenith
    Aureate Zenith 4★

The best 4★ option: A Crit. DMG main stat plus ATK and a Heavy Attack DMG bonus after the Liberation.

  5. 5 Autumntrace
    Autumntrace 4★

A 4★ Broadblade with a Crit. Rate main stat; it gives an ATK bonus that stacks on Basic and Heavy Attack hits.

Jingran skills

Normal Attack

Edge of Life and Death

In Yin Vessel he performs the four-hit Drink Soul combo, in Yang Font the four-hit Devil's Bane; the 3rd and 4th hits count as Heavy Attacks and fill 50 Qi each. Dodge Counters grant 100 Qi, and Shadow Step, performed with a directional dodge, links into the combo chain.

Resonance Skill

Malevolent Encounter

Deals Fusion DMG with Encroaching Yin or Scorching Yang depending on the stance and grants a short Cleanse of Impurity. During it, a mid-air Basic Attack performs Netherworld Traverse or Afterlife's Guide, which count as Heavy Attacks, and fills 100 Qi.

Forte Circuit

Upstream Along Santu

Once 300 Qi is full, holding Basic Attack performs a big Heavy Attack, Soul Raid or Stardome Meander, and switches stance. As Fire of Life from the Liberation is consumed, the multipliers of these hits increase for every 1,000 Max HP above 25,000; his DEF is permanently 0.

Resonance Liberation

Burial of Thousand Souls

Lands a Fusion strike that counts as a Heavy Attack; it grants 100 Fire of Life, 200 Qi and 3 Wayfarer's Mark, and if his HP is above 50%, pulls it down to 50%. In the 15 s Yinghuo state, each big Heavy Attack summons Chimei Wangliang, which deals extra Heavy Attack DMG.

Intro Skill

Question the Tombs

Deals Fusion DMG on entry, grants 100 Qi and converts accumulated Ghost Shroud into Fortune in Disguise stacks. Each stack provides extra Fusion DMG Bonus based on Max HP (up to 2.5% per stack).

Outro Skill

Rising Fortune and Ebbing Evil

As Jingran leaves the field, he lands a single powerful strike that deals Fusion DMG equal to 795% of his ATK.

Inherent Skill

Hark the Dust

Using his Intro or Resonance Skill grants Earth Charm for 15 s: While he is on the field, dealing damage creates shields based on Max HP (smaller in Yinghuo). These shields feed Ghost Shroud and set bonuses.

Inherent Skill

Trace the Vestige

On entering combat, Ghost Shroud is topped up to at least 25; Jingran also collects Ghost Shroud whenever teammates gain shields. A passive that rewards playing with supports who give shields.

Tune Break

Tune Break: Broadblade

When the target's Off-Tune level is full, he can perform a Tune Break; pressing Basic Attack afterward continues the combo with the 2nd hit of Drink Soul or Devil's Bane depending on his stance.

Jingran sequences (Resonance Chain)

He is fully functional at S0; aim for his signature weapon first. As a first Sequence investment, S2 gives the biggest jump, S3 is a good stopping point, and S6 is his damage ceiling.

  1. S1

Yin and Yang in Harmony, the Ultimate Law of Being

The multipliers of his Resonance Skills and their mid-air follow-ups increase by 80%; these attacks become immune to interruption.

  2. S2

A Solitary Lantern, Across Lands Shade-Trodden

The multipliers of Soul Raid and Stardome Meander increase by 46%; on entering combat he gains 300 Qi and Netherworld's Boon, which grants an energy refund and 180% DMG Amplification.

  3. S3

World's Course Shifts, Each to Their Rightful Paths

Big Heavy Attacks grant Ghost Shroud; for 15 s after the Liberation he gains 50 extra ATK for every 1,000 Max HP (up to 2,500).

  4. S4

Where Reality Meets Illusion, Where Living Meet Dead

When anyone on the team gains a shield, the whole team gets 20% All-Attribute DMG Bonus for 30 s.

  5. S5

Ends Return to Beginnings, Truth of Life Laid Bare

When he takes a fatal blow he is not downed and gains a shield equal to 50% of Max HP for 15 s (once every 10 minutes).

  6. S6

As Favors and Feuds Fade, New Stories Await

Targets take 40% more Heavy Attack DMG from Jingran, Chimei Wangliang's multiplier increases by 80%, and dealing damage in Yinghuo summons additional Chimei Wangliang.

Jingran team comps

Heavy Attack team

Iuno is the best sub DPS for Jingran and boosts Heavy Attack DMG; Shorekeeper restores the HP his Liberation takes away while boosting crit stats.

Mono Fusion

A lineup that backs up Fusion DMG with Lupa and Mornye; a strong alternative if you do not have Iuno.

Tune Break team

An alternative team built on the Off-Tune and Tune Break mechanics with Lynae and Mornye, suited to 3.x content.

Jingran tips

  • Open the rotation with the Liberation: Thanks to 200 Qi, 3 Wayfarer's Mark and the Yinghuo state, you can chain big Heavy Attacks back to back.
  • Squeeze in Soul Raid and Stardome Meander during Yinghuo; as you consume Fire of Life, their damage multiplies with your Max HP.
  • Play with supports who give shields: Shields feed Ghost Shroud, Lamp of Nether Road and the stacks of his signature weapon.
  • Aim to push Max HP above 50,000; DEF substats are completely wasted on Jingran.
  • Since the Liberation pulls his HP down to 50%, do not drop the healer from the team; a support like Shorekeeper provides both healing and a crit bonus.

Common questions

How do you get Jingran?

Jingran is a limited 5★ Resonator. He arrived in the second phase of Version 3.6 (September 10-29, 2026) with the "Where Santu Beckons" banner and can only be pulled with Radiant Tide while his banner is active.

What is the best Echo set for Jingran?

5-piece Lamp of Nether Road; its HP bonus and the Crit. Rate and Fusion DMG gained from shields are made for him. Use Myriad Snare: Rustfire Chassis as the main Echo.

What is Jingran's best weapon?

His signature weapon, Thousandfold Deliverance, is by far the best; its 72.2% HP main stat makes the high HP target easier. Thunderflare Dominion and Verdant Summit are alternatives, and Aureate Zenith and Autumntrace work as 4★ options.

Why is Jingran's DEF 0?

It is not a bug but part of his design: Jingran's DEF is permanently fixed at 0. He draws his survivability and damage from Max HP, shields and healing, so DEF stats give him nothing.

What team should you build for Jingran?

The strongest lineup is Jingran + Iuno + Shorekeeper. Lupa and Mornye for Mono Fusion, and Lynae and Mornye for a Tune Break focused team, are good alternatives.

What materials does Jingran use?

To ascend him you need Forged Empyrean's Sigh from Calamity Effigy, Cloudperch Seed and Whisperin Cores. His skills use the Carved Crystal series, Whisperin Core and Skyward Glazed Heart, the weekly material dropped by Thousand-Puppet Pavilion.
