"Gallant Blaze" The heroic patroller of Jinzhou's streets
Chixia is a young Patroller who brightens the streets of Jinzhou with her cheerful energy and has set her heart on becoming a hero; she adores Hero Play shows and superheroes, and wants everyone to know her name. She is a 4★ Fusion Resonator who wields Pistols and joins everyone for free at the start of the story. Her gameplay revolves around a sustained fire mode called DAKA DAKA!: She builds Thermobaric Bullets, holds Resonance Skill to rain down bullets and, after 30 bullets, finishes with a powerful Boom Boom. She is a main DPS who likes long field time, so she does best in teams that give her that time.
Chixia joins your team for free in the main story's opening chapter (Prologue) when you arrive in Jinzhou, so every player gets her automatically. As a 4★, she can also drop from every standard and limited Convene banner; her odds go up when she is one of the rate-up 4★ characters on a limited banner. You need to pull her again to complete her Sequences (Resonance Chain).
2-piece: Fusion DMG + 10%.
5-piece: Fusion DMG + 30% for 15s after releasing Resonance Skill.
Grants 30% Fusion DMG for 15 s after Resonance Skill; a perfect fit for Chixia, who deals most of her damage with DAKA DAKA! and Boom Boom (Resonance Skill).
2-piece: Energy Regen + {0}.
If you don't have well-rolled 5-piece Molten Rift Echoes yet, 2-piece Molten Rift + 2-piece Moonlit Clouds gives you Fusion DMG and Energy Regen together.
In the main slot it grants 12% Fusion DMG and a 12% Resonance Skill DMG Bonus; the bonus is passive, so it is always active even if you don't use the Echo Skill.
Energy Regen is a low priority for Chixia; balance Crit. Rate and Crit. DMG first, then stack ATK% and Resonance Skill DMG Bonus. The classic 4-3-3-1-1 Echo layout is recommended.
Carlotta's signature weapon. With a 72% Crit. DMG main stat and a 48% Resonance Skill DMG bonus that lasts 5 s after Intro or Liberation, it is the best option for Chixia; switching into DAKA DAKA! right after Intro catches the bonus.
Gives a 48.6% Crit. DMG main stat and 12% ATK; when anyone on the team performs a Tune Break, it grants a 20% All-Attribute DMG Bonus for 14 s.
The standard banner's 5★ Pistols; a reliable option with a 24.3% Crit. Rate main stat and 12.8% Energy Regen, and the ATK buff it gives after Outro helps a teammate too.
A strong 4★ option: Its 36.5% ATK main stat and a Resonance Skill DMG bonus of up to 21%, stacking 3 times with Basic/Heavy Attack hits, suit Chixia, who switches back and forth between shots and DAKA DAKA!
A craftable, easy-to-get 4★; its 36.5% ATK main stat is enough to start with, and the ATK bonus that stacks while you take no damage adds a small contribution.
Totals are calculated from game data: Every ascension stage from 1→90, skills 1→10 and every skill tree node.
Performs a Fusion combo of up to four shots; Heavy Attack aims and fires a powerful shot, and in mid-air she spends Stamina to fire rapidly. Normal Attack hits fill her Forte resource, Thermobaric Bullets.
Chixia unleashes a rapid barrage that deals Fusion damage; she starts with 2 charges. Each use grants Thermobaric Bullets, and holding the button starts the DAKA DAKA! state from her Forte Circuit.
Holding Resonance Skill enters DAKA DAKA!, where she spends Thermobaric Bullets to fire continuously; this counts as Resonance Skill damage. Pressing Basic Attack during it exits with the 4th Basic Attack; if 30 bullets have been fired, a powerful Boom Boom goes off instead. She holds up to 60 bullets (70 with her Inherent Skill).
Chixia showers nearby enemies with rapid shots that deal Fusion damage. A big burst damage window that gets stronger with Sequences (S2 to S4).
Chixia makes a heroic entrance and fires rapid shots from her twin pistols for Fusion damage. It also grants Thermobaric Bullets, so it is a quick way to collect bullets before DAKA DAKA!
As Chixia leaves the field, she sets off a shockwave around the target that deals Fusion damage equal to 530% of her ATK. It gives no buff; it is a purely damage-focused Outro.
Maximum Thermobaric Bullets increase by 10 and Boom Boom's damage rises by 50%. The most important upgrade to her Forte loop.
Each Thermobaric Bullet that hits during DAKA DAKA! raises ATK by 1% for 10 s, stacking up to 30 times. Long firing streaks make Chixia steadily stronger.
When the target's Off-Tune level is full, Chixia can perform the Pistols-specific Tune Break attack; it is a mechanic shared by all Resonators that opens an extra damage window on the staggered enemy.
S1 (Boom Boom always crits) and S4 (60 bullets and a reset Resonance Skill after Liberation) give the biggest jumps; S3 is also a notable damage increase. S6 mostly benefits her teammates.
Boom Boom hits always crit; one of her most valuable Sequences.
Each target defeated during Blazing Flames grants 5 Resonance Energy (up to 20 per cast).
Blazing Flames deals 40% more damage to targets below 50% HP.
Blazing Flames grants 60 Thermobaric Bullets and instantly resets the cooldown of Whizzing Fight Spirit; you can enter DAKA DAKA! right after Liberation.
When Numbingly Spicy! reaches max stacks, ATK rises by an additional 30%.
Boom Boom raises the whole team's Basic Attack DMG Bonus by 25% for 15 s.
Lupa is one of the best sub DPS characters for Fusion teams and amplifies Chixia's damage; Brant joins as both the second Fusion character and a support who adds survivability.
Chixia
Changli
Shorekeeper
Changli and Chixia take turns on the field and share the damage; Changli's Outro boosts Fusion damage, and Shorekeeper provides healing and a crit bonus.
Chixia
Rover (Spectro)
Baizhi
All three characters are free: Rover (Spectro) comes in as the sub DPS, and Baizhi heals while her Outro raises Chixia's damage by 15%.

Chixia is free: She joins your team in the main story's opening chapter when you arrive in Jinzhou. As a 4★, she can be pulled again from every Convene banner to complete her Sequences.
5-piece Molten Rift; the 30% Fusion DMG it grants after Resonance Skill lines up with DAKA DAKA! and Boom Boom. Use Nightmare: Inferno Rider as the main Echo; its 12% Fusion and 12% Resonance Skill DMG bonus is passive and always active.
She has no signature weapon; the best option is Carlotta's signature The Last Dance. Phasic Homogenizer and the standard 5★ Static Mist are also strong; on the 4★ side you can use Thunderbolt, or the craftable Pistols#26 to start with.
For a free 4★ she is a strong and fun main DPS, and she gets noticeably stronger with S1 and S4 in particular. She can't compete with the newest 5★ characters, but she comfortably handles the story, the open world and Fusion teams.
Lupa and Brant are good picks for Mono Fusion, and Changli and Shorekeeper for dual DPS. If you want a fully free lineup, you can play her with Rover (Spectro) and Baizhi.
Ascension needs Rage Tacet Core from Inferno Rider, the local specialty Belle Poppy and Whisperin Cores. Skill upgrades use the Phlogiston series, Whisperin Core and the weekly material Monument Bell from Bell-Borne Geochelone.
