Who is Aemeath?

Once an Exostrider Synchronist at Rabelle College, Aemeath is now a digital ghost who sings quietly among the stars. She wields a Sword with the Fusion element and fights by constantly switching forms with her Mech, which inherits her stats in combat. Most of her damage counts as Resonance Liberation: She builds up resources with Seraphic Duets and spends them in one big blast with Heavenfall Edict: Finale. She has two Resonance Modes, Tune Rupture and Fusion Burst, so she plays as the main DPS both in Tune Break teams with Lynae and Mornye and in Fusion Burst teams with Denia.

Aemeath skills

Normal Attack

Infinity Calibration

In her own form, Aemeath performs a four-hit Fusion combo; holding Heavy Attack strikes with Charged I or the stronger Charged II, and these Heavy Attacks count as Resonance Liberation damage. In Instant Response, Charged II charges much faster; Basic Attack, Mid-air Attack and Dodge Counter hits grant Synchronization Rate.

Resonance Skill

Shared Voyage

Aemeath fights by switching forms with her Mech, which inherits her stats. Pressing Resonance Skill after the 2nd to 4th hit of her combo, after a Heavy Attack or after a Dodge Counter switches to the Mech with Sync Strike: Armament Merge, and in the Mech, Sync Strike: Call of Dawn switches back to Aemeath. The Mech also has its own four-hit combo and Charged Heavy Attacks that count as Liberation damage.

Forte Circuit

To Sculpt the Silence

After the 4th Basic Attack in either form, she enters Seraphic Duo for 5 s; during it she spends 100 Synchronization Rate to cast Seraphic Duet: Overture/Encore, which counts as Resonance Liberation damage, and gains 1 Resonance Rate per cast (up to 4). Depending on the selected Resonance Mode, she applies Tune Rupture - Shifting or Fusion Burst and builds Rupturous Trail/Fusion Trail stacks on targets; Seraphic Duet consumes these stacks to deal extra Tune Rupture damage or detonate an enhanced Fusion Burst.

Resonance Liberation

Towards the Daybreak

Heavenfall Edict - Overdrive deals Fusion damage and switches Aemeath to Mech form; it unlocks Stardust Resonance for 30 s (the next two Seraphic Duets are enhanced) and Heavenfall Edict: Unbound for 60 s. During Unbound, once Synchronization Rate reaches 200 and Resonance Rate reaches 4, her Liberation turns into Heavenfall Edict: Finale, the real finisher that spends all her resources.

Intro Skill

Overture of Departure

Deals Fusion damage on entry (as Debut of Meteoric Radiance if she is in Mech form) and grants 40 Synchronization Rate. Heavenfall Edict - Overdrive cast during the 15 s Starlume Acceleration grants 1 extra Resonance Rate, so using Liberation right after Intro speeds up the rotation.

Outro Skill

Silent Protection

The whole team except Aemeath gains 10% All-DMG Amplification for 20 s. For teammates who apply Tune Rupture - Shifting or Fusion Burst according to the selected mode, this bonus rises to 20%.

Inherent Skill

Before All Sounds

In Instant Response, Heavy Attacks from both Aemeath and the Mech gain 200% DMG Amplification. That makes the Charged II Heavy Attack cast after filling Resonance Rate and before Finale one of the hardest hits in her rotation.

Inherent Skill

Between the Stars

In Tune Rupture mode, each time a Resonator on the team applies Tune Rupture - Shifting or deals Tune Rupture damage, Aemeath gains 20% Crit. DMG (up to 3 times); at 3 stacks, Finale damage rises by 25% (Amplify). In Fusion Burst mode, each teammate who applies Fusion Burst grants 30% Crit. DMG (up to 2 times), and at 2 stacks the same 25% boost applies; stacks reset when the team or mode changes.

Tune Break

Unlanded Melody

She can perform a Tune Break on a target whose Off-Tune level is full, then chain into the 3rd hit with Basic Attack. In Tune Rupture mode, when the team applies Tune Rupture - Interfered, she responds with Starburst, which counts as Tune Rupture damage (once every 8 s per target).

Aemeath sequences (Resonance Chain)

She is fully functional at S0; her signature weapon Everbright Polestar may be a more efficient first investment. Among her Sequences, S2 and S3 give the biggest jumps in personal damage, S4 gives the whole team a 20% damage bonus, and S6 raises her ceiling by letting Tune Rupture/Fusion Burst damage crit.

  1. S1

Gilded Glimmer of the First Dawn

Heavy Attacks in Instant Response gain 300% Crit. DMG and pull enemies in while charging. Outside combat she enters Instant Response - Brilliance; defeating an enemy that carries Trail stacks transfers those stacks to the next target.

  2. S2

    Downy Notes of Snowfluff

The multipliers of Seraphic Duet: Overture and Encore increase by 100%; in both modes, the extra Tune Rupture damage or Fusion Burst blast triggered by Seraphic Duet also gets noticeably stronger.

  3. S3

Fervor Sightly Burns Bright as New

Heavenfall Edict: Finale's multiplier increases by 100% and Overdrive's by 40%. Between the Stars is enhanced to grant 60% Crit. DMG and a 25% Amplify for Finale in a single trigger; Heavy Attacks in Instant Response also apply the selected mode's effect.

  4. S4

    Ethereal Waltz on Binary Tides

Using Intro Skill, Sync Strike or Seraphic Duet gives the whole team a 20% All-Attribute DMG Bonus for 30 s.

  5. S5

    Voyage to the Astral Shore

When she takes a fatal hit, she turns into a 2D Digital Ghost for 5 s and gives the team a shield equal to 360% of her ATK, then returns with full HP and 30 Resonance Energy (once every 10 minutes). Defeating an enemy also fully refills Starflux.

  6. S6

    A Zephyr-Kissed Journey to You

Targets take 40% more Resonance Liberation damage from Aemeath; depending on the selected mode, Tune Rupture or Fusion Burst damage can crit with a fixed 80% Crit. Rate and 275% Crit. DMG. Trail stacks are also doubled, up to 60.

Aemeath team comps

Tune Rupture team

Put Lynae in Tune Rupture mode: With Tune Rupture - Shifting and Tune Breaks she fills Aemeath's Rupturous Trail stacks and her Between the Stars bonus. Mornye heals the team while boosting damage with Interfered Marker and her 25% Outro buff.

Fusion Burst team

Put Aemeath and Denia in Fusion Burst mode: Denia gives the team 30% Fusion DMG and her Outro raises Fusion Burst damage by 60%, while Chisa heals and raises the targets' negative status stack cap. Especially strong in content with many enemies.

Mono Fusion

Lupa's Outro increases Fusion damage by 20%; with three Fusion characters on the team, Lupa's Liberation lets them ignore 15% of enemies' Fusion RES. Mornye provides healing and a team buff.

Aemeath tips

  • Pick the Resonance Mode that fits your team: Use Tune Rupture in Tune Break teams with Lynae and Mornye, and Fusion Burst when playing with Denia. Changing team or mode resets Between the Stars stacks.
  • Open the rotation with Intro Skill and cast Heavenfall Edict - Overdrive while Starlume Acceleration is active, so Overdrive grants 1 extra Resonance Rate.
  • Enter Seraphic Duo with the 4th Basic Attack and cast Seraphic Duet whenever you have 100 Synchronization Rate; each Duet grants 1 Resonance Rate and switches your form.
  • When Resonance Rate reaches 4, you enter Instant Response: Here the Charged II Heavy Attack gets 200% DMG Amplification and fills Synchronization Rate to 200, so finish the rotation right after with Heavenfall Edict: Finale.
  • Use Sigillum as your main Echo; it grants Aemeath an exclusive 25% Resonance Liberation DMG Bonus, and most of her damage, including Heavy Attack and Seraphic Duet, counts as Liberation.

Common questions

How do you get Aemeath?

Aemeath is a limited 5★ Resonator and can only be pulled with Radiant Tide while her banner is active. She first arrived in Version 3.1 with the "Take Flight in Spring" banner and got a rerun in Version 3.5.

What is the best Echo set for Aemeath?

What is Aemeath's best weapon?

What is the difference between Aemeath's Tune Rupture and Fusion Burst modes?

In Tune Rupture mode, Aemeath deals extra Tune Rupture damage fed by the team's Tune Breaks, which is especially strong against single targets; she plays with Lynae and Mornye. Fusion Burst mode relies on Fusion Burst blasts that spread across enemies and shines with Denia in multi-enemy wave content.

Which team should you build for Aemeath?

Aemeath + Lynae + Mornye for Tune Rupture and Aemeath + Denia + Chisa for Fusion Burst are the strongest options. For a plain Fusion lineup that depends less on modes, Lupa and Mornye work well.

What materials does Aemeath use?

Ascension needs Our Choice from the Nameless Explorer, the local specialty Moss Amber and the Exoswarm Core series. Skill upgrades use the Polarizer series (from Broken Wing to Layered Wing Polarizer), Exoswarm Core and the weekly material Gold in Memory from Sigillum.
