Who is Lucy?

Lucy (Lucy Kushinada) is one of the guest characters who came to the game with the Wuthering Waves × Cyberpunk: Edgerunners collaboration; she is an Edgerunner from Night City and her crew's Netrunner. Because of a heavy debt she carries in her heart, she deliberately keeps people at a distance. She is a Spectro Resonator who wields Pistols. She fills TCP by dealing damage, enters Algorithm Compaction mode with Deadlock and deals her main damage with monowire attacks that apply Hack - Shifting to enemies and count as Heavy Attacks. Her Liberation, Netrunner, opens a hacking interface that loads Spoofing Programs onto targets. She is the team's Main DPS and gets the best results with Rebecca, who also comes from the collaboration.

How to get Lucy

Lucy is a limited 5★ Resonator exclusive to the Cyberpunk: Edgerunners collaboration and does not drop from the standard banner. She was featured in version 3.4 on the "Dreaming Upon the Moon" banner, which ran from June 8 to July 9, 2026. On this banner, the collaboration-exclusive Dreamcatcher Tide was used instead of Radiant Tide, and pity was shared with Rebecca's banner. Pity and the 50% rule worked the same way as on regular limited banners; as of version 3.6, the banner has not returned.

Lucy build

Updated for version 3.6

Echo set

Shadow of Shattered Dreams1-piece

1-piece: Inflicting Hack - Shifting on the target grants {1} Basic Attack DMG Bonus and Heavy Attack DMG Bonus for {2}s.

The Adam Smasher Echo in the main slot activates this set on its own. Since Lucy applies Hack - Shifting constantly, the 35% Heavy Attack DMG bonus is almost always active.

Rite of Gilded Revelation2-piece

2-piece: Spectro DMG + {0}

Two of the remaining four Echoes give 10% Spectro DMG; the 2-piece of Celestial Light or Eternal Radiance gives the same bonus.

Reel of Spliced Memories2-piece

2-piece: ATK + {0}

The last two Echoes are for 10% ATK; if you do not have them, 2-piece Lingering Tunes does the same job. With this 1+2+2 layout, you get three set bonuses at once.

  3. 3 Lux & Umbra

Lucy skills

Normal Attack

Locked Thread

In her normal state, it consists of a 4-hit Spectro combo, a two-stage Heavy Attack performed with her monowire, a Mid-air Attack and a Dodge Counter. In Algorithm Compaction, her Basic Attack turns into Thread Shredding, which counts as Heavy Attack damage. At 100 Root Access, Dual Threading comes next, followed by Multi-threading, which applies Hack - Shifting; if she has SQL, this hit's multiplier increases by 270%.

Resonance Skill

Protocol Breach

With Payload, she dashes forward, deals Spectro DMG and applies Hack - Shifting. If it hits, it unlocks the automatic follow-up attack Pulse Interference; if it touches no target, its cooldown is reduced by 70%. Pulse Interference briefly Stagnates the target and gives Digital Handshake, which fills TCP every second while she is on the field. When TCP reaches 100, or while in Algorithm Compaction, the skill turns into Deadlock, which counts as Heavy Attack damage.

Forte Circuit

Depths of Blackwall

Deadlock puts Lucy into Algorithm Compaction. She gains 1 SQL, and her Spectro DMG Bonus increases by 65% for 8 s. In this mode, her hits fill Root Access; at 100, the Dual Threading → Multi-threading chain unlocks, and Multi-threading turns her Liberation into the stronger Old Net Deep Dive. If you perform Multi-threading without SQL, you lose 20% of your current HP. She also deals Hack damage to targets carrying Hack - Interfered through Data Crash.

Resonance Liberation

Netrunner

Lucy opens the Protocol Interface for 10 s and, with 24 RAM, picks up to 7 Spoofing Programs to apply to marked targets in her field of view, such as taking 5% more damage, a 5% DEF and ATK reduction or extra Spectro DMG. When the time runs out or Basic Attack is held, Override deals Spectro DMG that counts as a Heavy Attack to all marked targets. Old Net Deep Dive, which comes after Multi-threading, offers the same effects with a much higher Override multiplier.

Intro Skill

Outdated Hallucination

Deals Spectro DMG as she enters the field and gives the team Involuntary Sharing for 25 s, which reveals targets behind obstacles; this lets Rebecca lock onto enemies behind walls as well. If Rebecca's turret is on the field, it increases the turret's damage for 4 s, and her next Pulse Interference also grants 20 extra TCP.

Outro Skill

Countermeasure Program

The next character gains 25% Basic Attack DMG Amplification for 14 s. The whole team gets Countermeasure Program for 25 s. If the active character other than Lucy applies Hack - Shifting (in practice, Rebecca), they gain 20% All DMG Amplification, and a teammate who is attacked gets a 30% damage reduction for 3 s once.

Inherent Skill

Ghost Cyberware

If Lucy takes no damage for 8 s while on the field, she gains one Optical Illusion stack. This stack completely nullifies the damage of the next hit; even if Lucy would be knocked down, she recovers instantly, and if she is on the ground, it triggers a successful Dodge.

Inherent Skill

Function Cracking

Her Resonance Skills leave a 2-minute Botnet Mark on Overlord and Calamity class enemies; when the team kills this target, Lucy (and Rebecca, if she is on the team) gains Network Backdoor. Each stack gives 10% All DMG Amplification and a 10% extra Hack DMG multiplier, and at 2 stacks both increase by another 5%; the effect is lost if Lucy falls.

Tune Break

Data Crash

She can perform a Tune Break on a target whose Off-Tune level is full. When someone on the team applies Hack - Interfered to the target through a Tune Break, Lucy responds with Data Crash, which counts as Hack damage; the enemy is Stagnated for 0.5 s after its next attack (once every 8 s per target).

Lucy sequences (Resonance Chain)

She is fully functional at S0, so aim for her signature weapon Spectral Trigger first. As a first Sequence stop, S2 gives the biggest jump (the SQL bonus of Multi-threading doubles), S3 raises her Liberation damage, and S6 is her damage ceiling.

  1. S1

The Moon, a Ticket, and a Dream

Payload, Pulse Interference, Dual Threading and Multi-threading become immune to interruption; she gains 20% ATK for 14 s after her Intro. When a target with Spoofing Programs is killed, the recorded effects spread to nearby enemies through Quick Action.

  2. S2

The Blackwall, the Past, the Escape

Her Liberation starts with 32 RAM. After Pulse Interference, an extra Spectro hit equal to 450% of her ATK follows and applies the permanent effects of five Spoofing Programs. The multiplier increase of Multi-threading with SQL rises from 270% to 560%.

  3. S3

    Cyberpunk

Override's multiplier increases by 50% and its Crit. DMG by 100%; the multipliers of Cripple Movement and Data Crash also rise by 65%.

  4. S4

No Living Legends in Night City

When someone on the team applies Hack - Shifting, the whole team gains 20% All-Attribute DMG Bonus for 20 s.

  5. S5

    A Broken Path to Hell

Optical Illusion stacks 2 times. When she takes a hit while below 50% HP, a stack arrives instantly (once every 180 s), and when a stack triggers, she gains a shield equal to 150% of her ATK for 10 s.

  6. S6

I Really Want to Stay At Your House

Targets carrying Hack - Shifting or Hack - Interfered take 40% more Heavy Attack damage and 60% more Hack damage from Lucy; Data Crash's Stagnate duration rises to 1.5 s.

Lucy team comps

Edgerunners team

Rebecca's Outro instantly gives Lucy 35% Heavy Attack DMG Amplification and 15% All DMG Amplification. Since both of them apply Hack - Shifting, the set and weapon effects stay active constantly. Mornye rounds out the team with 25% All DMG Amplification.

Heavy Attack team

Iuno's Outro gives the next character 50% Heavy Attack DMG Amplification; Shorekeeper heals the team and raises crit stats.

Accessible lineup

Mortefi's Outro gives 38% Heavy Attack DMG Amplification, and Verina provides healing and 15% team damage; a budget-friendly option if you do not have Rebecca.

Lucy tips

  • Enter the rotation with her Intro. Your next Pulse Interference grants 20 extra TCP, and Digital Handshake fills TCP on its own while she is on the field.
  • Once TCP is at 100, enter Algorithm Compaction with Deadlock. The 65% Spectro DMG Bonus lasts only 8 s, so fit Thread Shredding and Multi-threading into this window.
  • Always use Multi-threading while you have SQL. The multiplier increases by 270%, and without SQL, Lucy loses 20% of her current HP.
  • Open her Liberation as Old Net Deep Dive after Multi-threading; Override hits much harder and Deadlock's cooldown resets.
  • If you play with Rebecca, bring Lucy onto the field with Rebecca's Outro. Thanks to Edgerunner Bonds, you get the 35% Heavy Attack DMG Amplification without waiting.
  • In the Protocol Interface, spend RAM first on Cyberware Malfunction and Breach Protocol, which increase damage; against large groups, mark everyone nearby in one move with Ping.

Common questions

How do I get Lucy?

Lucy is a limited 5★ Resonator exclusive to the Cyberpunk: Edgerunners collaboration. In version 3.4 (June 8 to July 9, 2026), she could be pulled on the "Dreaming Upon the Moon" banner with the collaboration-exclusive Dreamcatcher Tide; as of version 3.6, the banner has not returned.

What is the best Echo set for Lucy?

Lucy uses a three-set layout. Put Reminiscence - Nightmare: Adam Smasher in the main slot for 1-piece Shadow of Shattered Dreams, then add 2-piece Rite of Gilded Revelation (or another Spectro set) and 2-piece Reel of Spliced Memories. In the main slot, Adam Smasher also gives 15% Crit. Rate.

What is Lucy's best weapon?

Her signature weapon Spectral Trigger is by far the best; the Heavy Attack DMG Amplification it gives with Hack - Shifting is tailor-made for her. As alternatives, you can use the standard Phasic Homogenizer and Lux & Umbra, and on the 4★ side Solar Flame and Relativistic Jet.

Is Lucy strong?

Yes, she is a strong Heavy Attack DPS, especially in a team with Rebecca, and she plays comfortably at S0 as well. The TCP → Algorithm Compaction → Multi-threading → Liberation loop may look complicated at first, but it clicks after a few tries.

Which team should I build for Lucy?

The strongest lineup is Lucy + Rebecca + Mornye; Hack - Shifting exists only on these two collaboration characters, so they feed each other best. Without Rebecca, Iuno and Shorekeeper work well, and Mortefi and Verina make a budget-friendly lineup.

What materials does Lucy use?

For Ascension, she needs Nightmare Flashdrive, which drops from Nightmare: Adam Smasher, Past Reveries collected around Somnoire: Night City and Exoswarm Cores. For skills, she uses the Combustor series, Exoswarm Cores and the weekly material Gold in Memory, which drops from Sigillum.
