Jinhsi is the young Magistrate who governs Jinzhou; she can call on a power that shares its roots with the city's guardian, Sentinel Jué. She wields a Broadblade with the Spectro element, and almost all of her damage comes from Resonance Skill. She enters Incarnation with Overflowing Radiance and completes a string of attacks that count as Resonance Skill, then unleashes the Incandescence built up by her teammates in one huge strike with Illuminous Epiphany. That is why she does best with supports who deal damage of different elements and perform Coordinated Attacks.

How to get Jinhsi
Jinhsi is a limited 5★ Resonator and does not drop from the standard banner; you can only pull her with Radiant Tide while her banner is active. She first arrived in Version 1.1 with the "Thawborn Renewal" banner that opened on June 28, 2024; she got a rerun in 2.0 and returned in the 2.3 anniversary reruns and on the selector banner in 3.5. You are guaranteed a 5★ within 80 pulls; your first 5★ has a 50% chance of being the featured character, and if it isn't, the next 5★ is guaranteed.

Echo set
Celestial Light5-piece
2-piece: Spectro DMG + 10%.
5-piece: Spectro DMG + 30% for 15s after releasing Intro Skill.
The 30% Spectro DMG that lasts 15 s after Intro Skill fully covers the Incarnation window that starts with Loong's Halo; by far the best set for Jinhsi.
Lingering TunesAlternative · 5-piece
2-piece: ATK +10%
5-piece: While on the field, ATK increases by 5% every 1.5s. This effect stacks up to 4 times. Outro Skill DMG + 60%.
If you don't have well-rolled Celestial Light Echoes, 5-piece Lingering Tunes, with its ATK bonus that stacks while she stays on the field, is the second-best option.

Its Echo Skill grants a 16% Resonance Skill DMG Bonus for 15 s and triggers extra Spectro damage once per second on Resonance Skill hits; a perfect fit, since Incarnation attacks count as Resonance Skill.
Use a 4-3-3-1-1 layout. Enough Energy Regen to cast Purge of Light every rotation is all you need; her real damage comes from Illuminous Epiphany, so stack crit stats after that threshold.

Jinhsi skills
Normal Attack
Slash of Breaking Dawn
Consists of a four-hit Spectro combo, a Heavy Attack that costs Stamina, a plunging attack from mid-air and a Dodge Counter. Within 5 s after the 4th Basic Attack, Resonance Skill turns into Overflowing Radiance, which puts Jinhsi into Incarnation.
Resonance Skill
Trailing Lights of Eons
She dashes forward and lands a series of Spectro strikes. Within 5 s after the 4th Basic Attack, or after an Intro Skill used outside Incarnation, it is replaced by Overflowing Radiance; this strike deals damage and puts Jinhsi into Incarnation, her main damage mode.
Forte Circuit
Luminal Synthesis
In Incarnation, Basic Attacks turn into a four-hit string that counts as Resonance Skill damage, and Resonance Skill turns into Crescent Divinity. Illuminous Epiphany, which follows the 4th hit of the string, is her strongest strike: It spends up to 50 Incandescence and grows its multiplier with each point. Her teammates fill Incandescence: Damage of different elements, and Coordinated Attacks in particular, grant points.
Resonance Liberation
Purge of Light
Lands one big Spectro strike and can also be used in mid-air. It isn't her main damage source, but it adds an extra burst to the Incarnation window; S5 raises its multiplier by 120%.
Intro Skill
Loong's Halo
Deals Spectro damage to the target on entry; thanks to the Converged Flash passive, its multiplier is 50% higher. When used outside Incarnation, it unlocks Overflowing Radiance right away, which makes it the natural start of her rotation.
Outro Skill
Temporal Bender
For 20 s after Jinhsi leaves the field, damage of the same element dealt by her teammates can fill Incandescence every 1 s instead of every 3 s. That way Jinhsi can use Illuminous Epiphany at full power when she returns to the field.
Inherent Skill
Radiant Surge
Jinhsi permanently gains a 20% Spectro DMG Bonus. Since the bonus is unconditional, it raises her Spectro damage significantly together with the Celestial Light set.
Inherent Skill
Converged Flash
The damage multiplier of her Intro Skill Loong's Halo increases by 50%. A small but steady damage contribution for Jinhsi, who starts every rotation with Intro.
Tune Break
Tune Break: Broadblade
When the target's Off-Tune level is full, Jinhsi can perform the Broadblade-specific Tune Break attack; a shared mechanic that opens an extra damage window on the staggered enemy.
Jinhsi sequences (Resonance Chain)
S1 is Jinhsi's most valuable Sequence; on its own it increases Illuminous Epiphany damage by up to 80%. S2 makes the start of fights easier and S3 brings a big ATK bonus; if your budget is tight, S0 + signature weapon is also a strong start.
S1
Abyssal Ascension
Incarnation Basic Attacks and Crescent Divinity grant a Herald of Revival stack that lasts 6 s (up to 4); Illuminous Epiphany consumes all stacks and deals 20% more damage per stack.
S2
Chronofrost Repose
After staying out of combat for more than 4 s, Incandescence fills to 50; you start every fight with a fully charged Illuminous Epiphany.
S3
Celestial Incarnate
After Intro Skill she gains an Immortal's Descendancy stack; each stack raises ATK by 25% (up to 2 stacks, 20 s).
S4
Benevolent Grace
Using Purge of Light or Illuminous Epiphany gives everyone on the team a 20% Attribute DMG Bonus for 20 s.
S5
Frostfire Illumination
The damage multiplier of Purge of Light increases by 120%.
S6
Thawing Triumph
The damage multiplier of Illuminous Epiphany and the extra multiplier per Incandescence increase by 45%.
Zhezhi's Inklit Spirits are Coordinated Attacks, so they fill Incandescence quickly, and her Outro amplifies Resonance Skill damage by 25%; Shorekeeper heals while raising crit stats.
Yinlin's Judgement Strikes (Electro) and Verina's Photosynthesis Mark attacks (Spectro) are Coordinated Attacks of different elements, so they feed Incandescence from two sides.
Yuanwu's Coordinated Attacks help gather Incandescence, and Baizhi heals the team and gives a damage bonus; both supports are 4★, so the team is easy to build.

Jinhsi tips
Start the rotation with Intro Skill and switch right into Overflowing Radiance to enter Incarnation; complete all four hits of the Incarnation Basic Attack string.
Use Illuminous Epiphany when Incandescence is close to 50; each point raises the multiplier, so a half-full gauge means a serious loss of damage.
Run teammates who deal damage of different elements and perform Coordinated Attacks: Zhezhi's Inklit Spirits or Verina's Photosynthesis Mark fill Incandescence quickly.
Use Jué's Echo Skill before entering Incarnation; it grants a 16% Resonance Skill DMG Bonus for 15 s and extra Spectro damage on Resonance Skill hits.
Unison, which you gain after Illuminous Epiphany, triggers Outro and the next character's Intro when you switch, even if Concerto Energy isn't full; use it to keep the rotation smooth.
Keep dealing damage with your teammates for 20 s after Jinhsi's Outro; Incandescence fills much faster during this time.
Common questions
How do you get Jinhsi?
Jinhsi is a limited 5★ Resonator and can only be pulled with Radiant Tide while her banner is active. She first arrived in Version 1.1 with the "Thawborn Renewal" banner, then returned in the 2.0 rerun and on the 2.3 anniversary and 3.5 selector banners.
What is the best Echo set for Jinhsi?
5-piece Celestial Light is the best; the 30% Spectro DMG after Intro covers the Incarnation window. Use Jué as the main Echo; it boosts Resonance Skill damage with both a bonus and extra hits.
What is Jinhsi's best weapon?
Her signature weapon Ages of Harvest is by far the best; it grants two separate Resonance Skill DMG Bonuses, after Intro and after Resonance Skill. Alternatives are Verdant Summit and Lustrous Razor, and on the 4★ side Helios Cleaver and Autumntrace.
Is Jinhsi still strong?
Yes. Although she is a step behind the newest main DPS characters of 3.6, she still pulls a lot of weight in tough content in her team with Zhezhi and Shorekeeper. Her damage rises noticeably with S1 and her signature weapon.
Which team should you build for Jinhsi?
The strongest lineup is Jinhsi + Zhezhi + Shorekeeper. Yinlin and Verina are a good alternative, since their Coordinated Attacks fill Incandescence; for a 4★-heavy team, you can use Yuanwu and Baizhi.
What materials does Jinhsi use?
Ascension needs Elegy Tacet Core from Mourning Aix, Loong's Pearl and Howler Cores. Skill upgrades use the Waveworn Residue series, Howler Core and the weekly material Sentinel's Dagger from Sentinel Jué; the full list with quantities is in the materials section.
