Who is Phoebe?

Phoebe is a young acolyte of the Order of the Deep, quietly devoted to her faith, kind-hearted and meticulous about her duties. Like the light she carries, her prayers bring peace to those around her. She wields a Rectifier with the Spectro element. When Prayer fills up, she enters one of two modes: In Absolution she is a main DPS who grows her own damage with Heavy Attack Starflashes, while in Confession she is a supporter who quickly stacks Spectro Frazzle on enemies and amplifies that damage with her Outro. In current teams, she is mostly used as a sub DPS in Confession mode next to Zani.

How to get Phoebe

Phoebe is a limited 5★ Resonator and does not appear on the standard banner; you can only pull her with Radiant Tides while her banner is active. She first arrived in version 2.1 with the "With Hushed Whispers" banner that opened on February 13, 2025, and she returned in the 2.3 anniversary rerun banner, in the first phase of 2.8 and in the second phase of 3.2. A 5★ is guaranteed within 80 pulls; your first 5★ has a 50% chance of being the featured character, and if you lose the 50/50, the next 5★ is guaranteed.

Echo set

Eternal Radiance5-piece

2-piece: Spectro DMG + {0}

5-piece: Inflicting Spectro Frazzle on enemies increases Crit. Rate by {0} for {1}s. Attacking enemies inflicted with {2} stacks of Spectro Frazzle grants {3} Spectro DMG Bonus for {4}s.

The 20% Crit. Rate gained by applying Spectro Frazzle and 15% Spectro DMG against targets with 10 stacks are a perfect fit for Phoebe, who keeps stacking Frazzle; the best set in both modes.

Moonlit CloudsAlternative · 5-piece

2-piece: Energy Regen + {0}.

5-piece: Upon using Outro Skill, increases the ATK of the next Resonator by 22.5% for 15s.

If your Eternal Radiance Echoes are not ready and you play Phoebe as a support next to Zani, the 2-piece's Energy Regen and the 22.5% ATK buff after the Outro make a good interim solution.

Celestial LightAlternative · 5-piece

2-piece: Spectro DMG + 10%.

5-piece: Spectro DMG + 30% for 15s after releasing Intro Skill.

An older Spectro set that grants 30% Spectro DMG for 15 s after the Intro Skill; it does the job, especially in Absolution, until you switch to Eternal Radiance.

  6. Flat ATK

Although it is a 3-cost Echo, it goes in the main slot: It grants 12% Spectro DMG and 12% Heavy Attack DMG Bonus, which apply directly to Phoebe's Starflash hits that count as Heavy Attacks (if you do not have it, Nightmare: Mourning Aix is a good backup).

When playing her as a support in Confession, raise Energy Regen to 125-130% with substats; as a main DPS in Absolution, crit stats and Heavy Attack DMG Bonus take priority. Put Capitaneus in the main slot with a Spectro DMG main stat; the layout is still 4-3-3-1-1.

Phoebe skills

Normal Attack

O Come Divine Light

Deals Spectro damage with the three-hit Holy Light combo; she also has a Stamina-consuming Heavy Attack and a plunging attack with her staff. The midair Heavy Attack lets her ride her staff and glide for a distance; inside the Ring of Mirrors, Dodge Counter turns into Chamuel's Star: Dodge Counter.

Resonance Skill

To Where Light Shines

Summons a Ring of Mirrors at the target's location that halts enemies inside for 2 s; pressing again shortly after teleports Phoebe into the ring. Attacks you aim at the ring from outside refract the light, damaging the enemies inside and pulling them to the center; while she is inside, Basic Attack turns into the three-hit Chamuel's Star.

Forte Circuit

Radiant Invocation

Prayer fills automatically every second; at 120, a held Basic Attack performs Absolution Litany or a held Resonance Skill performs Utter Confession, and Phoebe enters that mode. After that, the 3rd Basic Attack hit or a Dodge Counter readies the Heavy Attack Starflash, which consumes Divine Voice: In Absolution it is cheaper and hits Frazzled targets with 256% amplification, while in Confession it stacks 5 Spectro Frazzle on the target.

Resonance Liberation

Dawn of Enlightenment

Gathers light in the Mirror of Enlightenment and shatters it to deal Spectro damage. In Absolution its multiplier increases by 255%, while in Confession it applies 8 stacks of Spectro Frazzle to targets.

Intro Skill

Golden Grace

Knocks back nearby enemies on entry, dealing Spectro damage. A short and simple entry; the real work starts once Prayer fills and you pick a mode.

Outro Skill

Attentive Heart

On exit, deals Spectro damage equal to 528.41% of ATK to the surrounding area. In Absolution its multiplier increases by 255%; in Confession, it gives the active character Silent Prayer for 30 s: Nearby enemies' Spectro RES drops by 10%, Spectro Frazzle damage is amplified by 100% and Frazzle's damage interval is extended by 50%.

Inherent Skill

Presence

You can use the midair Heavy Attack to ride your staff and glide one more time. A passive that makes it easier to cross long distances through the air while exploring.

Inherent Skill

Revelation

While in Absolution or Confession, Phoebe's Spectro DMG Bonus increases by 12%. That is why entering a mode as soon as Prayer fills up matters in combat.

Tune Break

Tune Break: Rectifier

When the target's Off-Tune level is full, Phoebe can perform the Rectifier-specific Tune Break attack. It is a shared mechanic that opens an extra damage window on the staggered enemy.

Phoebe sequences (Resonance Chain)

S1 greatly strengthens the Liberation in both modes, and S2 increases Silent Prayer's Frazzle amplification by 120% in Confession. If you only play Phoebe as a support next to Zani, S2 is a good stopping point; as a main DPS, going up to S3 noticeably raises Starflash damage.

  1. S1

    Warm Light and Bedside Wishes

In Absolution, the Liberation multiplier bonus becomes 480% instead of 255%; in Confession, the Liberation multiplier increases by 90% and applies the maximum Spectro Frazzle stacks the target can hold.

  2. S2

    A Boat Adrift in Tears

In Absolution, the damage Outro Skills deal to Frazzled targets is amplified by 120%; in Confession, Silent Prayer's Frazzle amplification increases by another 120%.

  3. S3

    Daisy Wreaths and Dreams

Starflash's multiplier increases by 91% in Absolution and by 249% in Confession.

  4. S4

    Ringing Bells on Wings Aloft

Basic Attack, Chamuel's Star and Dodge Counter hits lower the target's Spectro RES by 10% for 30 s.

  5. S5

    Prayer to the Distant Light

After the Intro Skill Golden Grace, Spectro DMG Bonus increases by 12% for 15 s.

  6. S6

    Whispering Chirps in Silence

Enemies that enter the Ring of Mirrors are halted for 2 more seconds; summoning the ring while in a mode grants 10% ATK for 20 s and triggers an extra Starflash at the ring's location that does not consume Divine Voice.

Phoebe team comps

Spectro Frazzle team

In Confession mode, Phoebe quickly stacks Spectro Frazzle on enemies and amplifies that damage with her Outro; Zani converts these stacks into damage, and Shorekeeper provides healing and a crit bonus.

Absolution main DPS team

Rover (Spectro) keeps Spectro Frazzle on the target, which increases the Starflash damage of Phoebe in Absolution; Shorekeeper keeps the team alive.

Phoebe tips

  • Enter a mode as soon as Prayer fills up at the start of a fight; the Revelation passive grants 12% Spectro DMG Bonus in both modes.
  • If you play with Zani, choose Confession: Starflash and Liberation stack lots of Spectro Frazzle on the target, and the Outro's Silent Prayer amplifies that damage.
  • In Absolution, Starflashes hit Frazzled targets with 256% amplification; make sure the target has Frazzle stacks, which Rover (Spectro) takes care of.
  • Trigger Starflash by pressing Heavy Attack after the 3rd Basic Attack hit or a Dodge Counter; when Divine Voice runs out, you can use the mode skill again if Prayer is full.
  • Ring of Mirrors halts enemies for 2 s, and attacks you aim at it from outside pull them to the center; use it to group scattered enemies.
  • While exploring, you can ride your staff and glide with the midair Heavy Attack; the Presence passive lets you do it one more time.

Common questions

How do you get Phoebe?

Phoebe is a limited 5★ Resonator and can only be pulled with Radiant Tides while her banner is active. She first arrived in version 2.1 with the "With Hushed Whispers" banner and returned in the 2.3 anniversary rerun banner, in 2.8 and in 3.2.

What is the best Echo set for Phoebe?

5-piece Eternal Radiance is the best in both modes; applying Frazzle grants Crit. Rate, and it gives Spectro DMG against targets with 10 stacks. Use Capitaneus with a Spectro DMG main stat as your main Echo; if you do not have it, Nightmare: Mourning Aix is a good backup.

What is Phoebe's best weapon?

Her signature weapon Luminous Hymn is by far the best. Stringmaster and the standard Cosmic Ripples are alternatives, and on the 4★ side you can use Augment and Ocean's Gift.

Should I play Phoebe in Absolution or Confession?

If you have Zani or another Spectro Frazzle main DPS, choose Confession: Phoebe stacks Frazzle and amplifies that damage with her Outro. If you want Phoebe to carry, go into Absolution; her Starflash and Liberation multipliers grow and she becomes a good main DPS with Rover (Spectro).

Which team should you build for Phoebe?

Her strongest use is Zani + Phoebe + Shorekeeper, where Phoebe is a sub DPS in Confession mode. To play Phoebe as the main DPS, you can build an Absolution team with Rover (Spectro) and Shorekeeper.

What materials does Phoebe use?

For Ascension she needs Cleansing Conch from Lorelei, who only appears at night in-game (18:00-06:00), Firecracker Jewelweed gathered in Rinascita and Whisperin Cores. Her skills use the Helix series, Whisperin Cores and Sentinel's Dagger from the weekly boss Jué.
