Hunger, which blends first-person shooter, slasher, RPG and horror gameplay, is coming to early access. The game is set in the desolate ruins of a Napoleonic-era Europe torn apart by war and gripped by a sinister plague that has unleashed unspeakable horrors.

According to information Oyun Günlüğü obtained from [source], players in Hunger take on the role of a survivor among the Living. They can set out alone or team up in groups of two or three, finding their way through dangerous lands roamed by monsters born from the Hunger, the plague’s wrath.

The Château and reputation

Fortune and adventure await those brave or foolish enough to leave the safety of the Château and venture into the ruined world. A player’s survival and prosperity are tied to those of the Château’s other residents, including quest givers, shopkeepers, stash keepers, bounty hunters and other Living. Completing quests and building reputation expands access to new locations, skills, characters, weapons, gear and vital resources.

Ranged and melee combat

Hunger’s combat is built on a mix of methodical, fast-paced ranged and melee fighting. Players can use rifles and pistols or launch explosive glass bombs with an experimental hand mortar. When ammo runs out or enemies close in too quickly to reload, axes and maces take over in close combat. Players face both the Hunger and other Living trying to take what is theirs, and can find and use armor, bags, trinkets, medicine, weapons and shields.

Gear can be lost, experience stays

Although players can lose most of their gear and weapons, all experience they earn goes toward progressing their character and level. Each of the Living has unique unlockable Passive, Tactical and Ultimate abilities, along with deep, highly customizable mastery trees featuring more than 100 perks.

Players can build their character for stealth and solo play by reducing footstep noise and picking locks, or specialize in ranged combat with faster reloads and better weapon control. Those willing to trade some lethality can take on a support role, repairing their group’s armor and healing allies.

Together with other Living, players explore and loot what remains of the ruined world, venturing through forests, villages, monasteries, castles, mines and more.
