Majestic Fists
Consists of a five-hit Glacio combo, a Heavy Attack that costs Stamina, a plunging attack from mid-air and a Dodge Counter. After using Furious Punches, the 5th hit is replaced by Feral Roars.
Wuthering Waves · 5★ Resonator
"Frosty Gusto" Jinzhou's ice-fisted lion dancer
Lingyang is a cheerful, energetic young man who keeps the lion dance tradition alive in Jinzhou, and he brings the excitement of his dance to the battlefield too. He is a standard 5★ Glacio Resonator who wields Gauntlets. He builds Lion's Spirit by alternating Basic Attacks and Resonance Skill; when the gauge is full, he enters the Striding Lion state and stays airborne while unleashing a string of Glacio attacks. His Resonance Liberation grants him a 50% Glacio DMG Bonus and extends Striding Lion, which makes him a main DPS with high single-target damage.
Lingyang is a standard 5★ Resonator and isn't tied to a specific banner. He can drop from the permanent Tidal Chorus banner, pulled with Lustrous Tide, when you lose the 50/50 on limited character banners, and from the Beginner's Choice Convene that opens once for new players (the 5★ you choose is guaranteed within 80 pulls). Tidal Chorus also guarantees a 5★ every 80 pulls, but you can't choose which character you get.
2-piece: Resonance Skill DMG + {0}
5-piece: Casting Resonance Skill grants {0} Glacio DMG Bonus for {1}s and casting Resonance Liberation increases Resonance Skill DMG by {2}, lasting for {3}s. This effect stacks up to {4} times.
Grants 22.5% Glacio DMG for 15 s each time Resonance Skill is used, and also boosts Resonance Skill damage after Liberation; the best set for Lingyang, who uses Resonance Skill constantly.
2-piece: Glacio DMG + 10%.
5-piece: Glacio DMG + 10% after releasing Basic Attack or Heavy Attack. This effect stacks up to 3 times, each stack lasts 15s.
A strong, easier-to-farm alternative with Glacio DMG that stacks after Basic and Heavy Attacks; with this set, Lampylumen Myriad is used as the main Echo.
2-piece: ATK +10%
Early on, 2-piece Freezing Frost + 2-piece Lingering Tunes gives you Glacio DMG and ATK together.
In the main slot it grants 12% Glacio DMG and a 12% Resonance Skill DMG Bonus; it stacks the same two stats as Frosty Resolve and pushes Lingyang's damage to the max.
Use a 4-3-3-1-1 layout. Leave Energy Regen for last: Enough to cast Liberation every rotation is all you need, and the rest should go into crit stats.
The standard banner's 5★ Gauntlets and tailor-made for Lingyang: Resonance Skill hits boost Basic Attack and Basic Attack hits boost Resonance Skill; Lingyang alternates between the two constantly, so the passive is always on.
Zani's signature weapon. Its 48.6% Crit. DMG, 12% ATK and the DEF ignore bonus after Basic Attack suit Lingyang very well; the Spectro Frazzle part goes to waste.
Xiangli Yao's signature weapon; a strong stat stick with 24.3% Crit. Rate and a 12% Attribute DMG bonus, while its Liberation bonus is only partly useful on Lingyang.
A high-stat alternative with 36% Crit. Rate and 12% ATK; its Liberation-based passive largely goes to waste on Lingyang.
An easy-to-get 4★ option with a 30.38% ATK main stat and Iron Armor stacks that give ATK and DEF after Liberation; the stacks drop as he takes damage.
A good 4★ alternative with a 40.5% Crit. DMG main stat and an ATK bonus after Liberation.
Totals are calculated from game data: Every ascension stage from 1→90, skills 1→10 and every skill tree node.
Consists of a five-hit Glacio combo, a Heavy Attack that costs Stamina, a plunging attack from mid-air and a Dodge Counter. After using Furious Punches, the 5th hit is replaced by Feral Roars.
An attack that deals Glacio damage to the target; when the 3rd, 4th or 5th Basic Attack or Feral Roars lands, it is replaced by Furious Punches. Resonance Skill doesn't reset the Basic Attack cycle, so the two are woven together; after Feral Roars and Furious Punches, the combo continues from the 3rd hit.
Furious Punches, Intro and Liberation fill Lion's Spirit; when the gauge reaches 100, the Heavy Attack Glorious Plunge puts him into the Striding Lion state. In this state Lingyang attacks in mid-air, Basic Attack turns into Feral Gyrate and Resonance Skill into Mountain Roamer, and Lion's Spirit runs out in 5 s; under the effect of Liberation, consumption is halved and the state lasts up to 10 s.
Deals Glacio damage to the target and grants Lingyang Lion's Vigor: He gains a 50% Glacio DMG Bonus, and Lion's Spirit consumption in Striding Lion is halved. Use it right before Striding Lion to extend your damage window.
Deals Glacio damage on entry and grants Lion's Spirit. Thanks to the Lion's Pride passive, its damage rises by 50%; if Lion's Spirit is full, you can switch straight into Striding Lion with Basic Attack.
As Lingyang leaves the field, he sets off a shockwave around the target that deals Glacio damage equal to 587.94% of his ATK to enemies in the area.
The damage of the Intro Skill Lion Awakens increases by 50%. That is why it pays to always bring Lingyang onto the field with Intro.
In Striding Lion, Mountain Roamer used within 3 s after each Basic Attack deals extra Glacio damage equal to 150% of its own damage (counts as Resonance Skill damage). That is why you should alternate Basic Attack and Mountain Roamer in Striding Lion.
When the target's Off-Tune level is full, Lingyang can perform the Gauntlets-specific Tune Break attack. A mechanic shared by all Resonators that opens an extra damage window on the staggered enemy.
S3 and S6 are his most valuable Sequences, since they directly raise Basic Attack damage in Striding Lion; S2 reduces his energy needs, and S4 adds extra value to Glacio teams. As a standard 5★, his Sequences can pile up over time as you lose 50/50s on limited banners.
Interruption resistance increases during Lion's Vigor.
The Intro Skill Lion Awakens grants an extra 10 Resonance Energy (once every 20 s).
During Lion's Vigor, Basic Attack DMG Bonus rises by 20% and Resonance Skill DMG Bonus by 10%.
The Outro Skill Frosty Marks raises the whole team's Glacio DMG Bonus by 20% for 30 s.
Strive: Lion's Vigor also deals extra Glacio damage equal to 200% of his ATK.
In Striding Lion, a Basic Attack that follows within 3 s after each Mountain Roamer gets 100% more Basic Attack DMG Bonus.
Lingyang
Zhezhi
Shorekeeper
Zhezhi's Outro amplifies Glacio damage by 20% and Resonance Skill damage by 25%, and her Coordinated Attacks add extra damage; Shorekeeper provides healing and a crit bonus.
Lynae and Mornye increase Off-Tune buildup and Tune Break damage while giving the team All DMG Amplification buffs; a strong lineup suited to 3.x content.

Lingyang is a standard 5★: He can drop from the permanent Tidal Chorus banner, when you lose the 50/50 on limited banners, or from the Beginner's Choice Convene that opens for new players. If you pick him in Beginner's Choice, he is guaranteed within 80 pulls.
5-piece Frosty Resolve is the best; it grants Glacio DMG each time he uses Resonance Skill. Use Sentry Construct as the main Echo; as an easier-to-farm alternative, 5-piece Freezing Frost with Lampylumen Myriad also works well.
He has no signature weapon; the best option is the standard 5★ Abyss Surges. Blazing Justice, Verity's Handle and Moongazer's Sigil are strong alternatives, and Hollow Mirage and Aether Strike can be used as 4★ options.
He can deal high single-target damage, but his area damage is weak and he sits mid-pack in the current meta. In a Glacio team with Zhezhi and Shorekeeper, he is still a fun and effective main DPS.
The strongest lineup is Lingyang + Zhezhi + Shorekeeper. For a Tune Break-focused team, Lynae and Mornye work well, and for an accessible lineup, Sanhua and Baizhi.
Ascension needs Sound-Keeping Tacet Core from Lampylumen Myriad, Coriolus and Whisperin Cores. Skill upgrades use the Cadence series, Whisperin Core and the weekly material Unending Destruction from Scar.
