Who is Hiyuki?

Hiyuki is a Flaming Sakura miko from Ashinohara who now carries on her duty in Lahai-Roi as the last remaining member of the Special Response Force. The Suzu charm on her right wrist lets her see and use her own "possible futures". She wields a Sword with the Glacio element, switches between Present Self and Foreclaimed Self, and most of her attacks count as Resonance Liberation DMG. While she is on the team, she turns Glacio Chafe into Glacio Bite, which triggers extra damage, so as the game's first Glacio Chafe focused main DPS she shines with supports like Lucilla and Suisui.

How to get Hiyuki

Hiyuki is a limited 5★ Resonator; she first arrived in the first phase of Version 3.3 with the "Thousand Futures Mirrored In Snow" banner, which opened on April 30, 2026, and got a rerun in Version 3.6. She does not drop from the standard banner, so you can only pull her with Radiant Tide while her banner is active. A 5★ is guaranteed within 80 pulls; your first 5★ has a 50% chance to be the featured character, and if you lose, the next 5★ is guaranteed.

   Frostburn 5★ · Signature weapon

   Signature weapon. It gives 24.3% Crit. Rate and 12% ATK; after applying Glacio Chafe, Glacio DMG is Amplified by 28%, Liberation DMG ignores 10% DEF, and while she is on the field the Glacio Chafe DMG dealt to nearby targets is amplified by 20%.

   Emerald of Genesis 5★

   The standard banner's 5★ Sword; a reliable alternative with a 24.3% Crit. Rate main stat and an Energy Regen passive.

3. 3
   Red Spring 5★

   Camellya's signature weapon; the Crit. Rate main stat and 12% ATK are useful, but its Basic Attack bonuses add little to her damage, which counts as Liberation DMG.

4. 4
   Feather Edge 4★

   The best 4★ option: Its Crit. Rate main stat and the ATK and Resonance Liberation DMG Bonus after the Liberation suit Hiyuki very well, since most of her damage counts as Liberation DMG.

5. 5
   Somnoire Anchor 4★

   A 4★ that works well in long combos, with ATK that stacks on hit and a Crit. Rate bonus at 10 stacks.

6. 6
   Fables of Wisdom 4★

   A 4★ that stacks ATK as you hit enemies with a negative status; the bonus fills easily on Hiyuki, who applies Glacio Chafe constantly.

Flaming Sakura Blade Art

In Present Self she performs a three-hit combo; once 300 Dedication is full, Heavy Attack - Frost Splinter unlocks, firing three arrows while she takes no damage during the shot, after which the Liberation becomes usable. In Foreclaimed Self her attacks turn into a five-hit series, all of which count as Resonance Liberation DMG; Heavy Attack - Bitterfrost, performed with full Whiteout Bitterfrost, grants Snowforged Blade.

Frostblight

In Present Self it deals Glacio DMG and makes the next 3rd Basic Attack grant an extra 100 Dedication. In Foreclaimed Self it is replaced by Jade Cleave on the ground and Petalfall in mid-air: Both group enemies, deal Glacio DMG, fill Frostheart and share a cooldown.

Everfrost Dominion

While Hiyuki is on the team, the Glacio Chafe the team applies turns into Glacio Bite, which triggers extra damage with each new stack; when Inward Vision or Basic Attack - Iai hits a target with 10 stacks, the stacks are consumed and Frostbind is triggered. In Foreclaimed Self, with at least 100 Frostheart, a dodge or holding the Resonance Skill enters Iai Stance; Basic Attack - Iai consumes 100 Frostheart and, with Frostharden Iai available, applies 3 Glacio Chafe and fills Whiteout Bitterfrost.

Resonance Liberation

Foreclaiming

Foreclaiming: Inward Vision is used after Frost Splinter without spending Resonance Energy; it applies 4 Glacio Chafe stacks, grants 3 Frostharden Iai and switches Hiyuki to Foreclaimed Self. The real finisher, Foreclaiming: Blade Liberation, grows stronger with each Snowforged Blade consumed and ends Foreclaimed Self; hold the button to consume the stacks one by one.

Intro Skill

Frostedge

Lands a Glacio strike on entry that counts as Resonance Liberation DMG and applies 1 Glacio Chafe. In Present Self it grants 200 Dedication, making it the fastest way to reach Frost Splinter.

Outro Skill

Snowlight Blessing

Glacio DMG dealt by teammates other than Hiyuki to targets with Glacio Chafe is Amplified by 20% for 20 s. A valuable Outro when playing with Glacio sub DPS characters.

Inherent Skill

Fine Snow

Every Resonator on the team who applies Glacio Chafe or Havoc Bane gives Hiyuki one Snow Rust stack (up to 3). At 1 stack, Glacio Bite DMG increases by 30% and Hiyuki gains 40% Crit. DMG; at 2 stacks, each Glacio Chafe she applies triggers an extra Glacio Bite hit; at 3 stacks, Glacio Bite DMG increases by another 30%.

Inherent Skill

Ephemeral Realm

If she stays out of combat for 4 s after leaving a fight or getting back up from a knockdown and has no Snowforged Blade, she gains 1 stack. A small convenience that lets you start the next fight a little more prepared.

Tune Break

Tune Break: Sword

She can perform a Tune Break on a target whose Off-Tune level is full; she then links into the 3rd Basic Attack of Present Self or Foreclaimed Self depending on her current form, keeping the combo going.

Hiyuki sequences (Resonance Chain)

She is fully functional at S0. S1 raises her Foreclaimed Self attack multipliers by 120% for a clear jump in personal damage; S4 gives the whole team a 20% damage bonus, and S6 raises her ceiling by adding 500% Crit. DMG to Inward Vision and Blade Liberation.

   The multipliers of Basic, Heavy, Mid-air and Dodge Counter attacks in Foreclaimed Self increase by 120%; the 3rd hit groups enemies, and the 4th and 5th hits become immune to interruption.

2. S2

   To Burn Cold in Silence

   Basic Attack - Iai's multiplier increases by 125%; after 4 s out of combat, 3 Snowforged Blades are restored, and if you are in Foreclaimed Self, Frostharden Iai refills and Jade Cleave's cooldown resets.

3. S3

   No Self, No Bound

   1 Snow Rust stack arrives automatically 2 s after she joins the team; the multipliers of the Frost Splinter and Bitterfrost Heavy Attacks increase by 160%, and the multiplier of the extra Glacio Bite triggered at 2 Snow Rust rises by 488%.

4. S4

   Like Reeds on Tides

   Using the Resonance Skill in Present Self, Jade Cleave or Petalfall makes the whole team deal 20% more damage for 30 s; Jade Cleave and Petalfall also heal for 18% of Max HP.

5. S5

   Vessel of Thousand Wishes

   The multipliers of the Present Self Resonance Skill, Jade Cleave and Petalfall increase by 80%.

6. S6

   Into a Night Without End

   Inward Vision and Blade Liberation gain 500% Crit. DMG; at 2 Snow Rust, everyone's Glacio Chafe on the team triggers an extra Glacio Bite and Hiyuki gains another 40% Crit. DMG, while at 3 stacks the Glacio Bite DMG targets take increases by 25%.

• Open the rotation with her Intro Skill: Frostedge gives 200 Dedication, the following 3rd Basic Attack gives 100, and Heavy Attack - Frost Splinter unlocks right away.
• After Frost Splinter, switch to Foreclaimed Self with Foreclaiming: Inward Vision, which costs no Resonance Energy; this transition also brings 3 Frostharden Iai and 4 Glacio Chafe stacks.
• In Foreclaimed Self, fill Frostheart with your combo and Jade Cleave/Petalfall, enter Iai Stance with a dodge or a held Resonance Skill and fire three Basic Attack - Iai; all three fill Whiteout Bitterfrost and unlock Heavy Attack - Bitterfrost.
• Use Blade Liberation after collecting Snowforged Blade stacks; each stack raises the finisher's multiplier.
• Put two characters who apply Glacio Chafe or Havoc Bane on the team: Snow Rust stacks multiply Glacio Bite DMG and Hiyuki's Crit. DMG.
• A hit that lands with the right timing during Foreclaimed Heavy Attack and Basic Attack - Iai is fully blocked; line this window up with boss attacks to stay safe while hitting nonstop.
