Who is Carlotta?

Carlotta is the second daughter of the Montelli family in Ragunna and an art investor who refuses to fit any mold; she moves easily through high society and the business world while quietly taking care of the family's unspoken "problems". She wields Pistols with the Glacio element. She builds up Moldable Crystals and Substance and spends them with Chromatic Splendor and Imminent Oblivion. The Liberation she unleashes with full Substance deals massive damage through a series of Death Knell shots during Twilight Tango, capped off by Fatal Finale. Most of her damage counts as Resonance Skill damage, so she is a main DPS who works best with supports that boost that damage type.

How to get Carlotta

Carlotta is a limited 5★ Resonator and does not appear on the standard banner; you can only pull her with Radiant Tides while her banner is active. She first arrived in version 2.0 with the "When Silence Tolls" banner that opened on January 2, 2025, and she returned in the 2.3 anniversary rerun banner and in the first phase of 2.6. In the main slot it grants 12% Glacio DMG and 12% Resonance Skill DMG; the Strike Capacitor, which fills as you use Liberation, resets the Echo Skill cooldown.

Raise Energy Regen to around 120-125% so you can use Liberation every rotation; in a team with Zhezhi and Shorekeeper, this need drops a little. The standard layout is 4-3-3-1-1.

Carlotta skills

Normal Attack

Silent Execution

Fires a two-hit Glacio shot; while she has Moldable Crystals, Basic Attack turns into the three-hit Necessary Measures, which consumes one crystal per hit. When Substance is full, Containment Tactics replaces the Heavy Attack, consumes all Substance and reduces Art of Violence's cooldown by 6 s. After a plunge, Basic Attack performs Customary Greetings, a shot fired while flipping over the target.

Resonance Skill

Art of Violence

Deals Glacio damage to the target and applies Dispersion, which immobilizes it for 1.5 s. Press it again shortly after to use Chromatic Splendor, which consumes all Moldable Crystals; if you skip this follow-up or Carlotta leaves the field, the skill goes on cooldown after a while.

Forte Circuit

Lethal Repertoire

Carlotta can hold up to 120 Substance and 6 Moldable Crystals; each crystal spent grants 10 Substance. With full Substance, holding Normal Attack while Tinted Crystal is active (available once every 22 s) performs Imminent Oblivion, which counts as Resonance Skill damage and reduces Art of Violence's cooldown by 6 s. The Final Bow state she enters when Substance is full increases Liberation multipliers by 80%.

Resonance Liberation

Era of New Wave

Deals Glacio damage to enemies in the area, applies Deconstruction (18% DEF ignore) and starts Twilight Tango. During this state, each Death Knell grants one Meta Vector; with 4 vectors she performs Fatal Finale and Tango ends. Every hit of the Liberation counts as Resonance Skill damage.

Intro Skill

Wintertime Aria

Deals Glacio damage to the target on entry; thanks to her Forte, it grants 30 Substance and 3 Moldable Crystals. Through the Ars Gratia Artis passive, it also applies Deconstruction to the target.

Outro Skill

Closing Remark

On exit, fires a single powerful shot that deals Glacio damage equal to 794.2% of Carlotta's ATK to the target.

Inherent Skill

Flawless Purity

A Mid-air Attack performed after Chromatic Splendor makes Carlotta immune to damage and interruption until it deals damage. While Carlotta is in the team, the Stamina the active character spends on gliding is reduced by 20%.

Inherent Skill

Ars Gratia Artis

The Intro Skill, Chromatic Splendor, Death Knell and Imminent Oblivion can also apply Deconstruction (18% DEF ignore) to the target. This lets you keep the effect up outside of Liberation.

Tune Break

Tune Break: Pistols

When the target's Off-Tune level is full, Carlotta can perform the Pistols-specific Tune Break attack. It is a shared mechanic that opens an extra damage window on the staggered enemy.

Carlotta sequences (Resonance Chain)

S1 is a good first stop with a higher crit chance and faster Substance gain, while S2 more than doubles Fatal Finale. S3 adds 93% to her Resonance Skill multipliers and gives the Outro an extra hit, and S6 is the ceiling Sequence that nearly triples Death Knell.

  1. S1

Beauty Blazes Brightest Before It Fades

Damage dealt to targets with Deconstruction gains 12.5% Crit. Rate; when Chromatic Splendor hits a target affected by Dispersion, it grants an extra 30 Substance.

  2. S2

Fallen Petals Give Life to New Blooms

Fatal Finale's DMG multiplier increases by 126%, raising Liberation damage noticeably.

  3. S3

    Adelante, Cortado, Spinning in Grace

Kaleidoscope Sparks, which deals damage equal to 1032.18% of ATK, is added to the end of the Outro; the multipliers of Art of Violence and Chromatic Splendor increase by 93%.

  4. S4

    Yesterday's Raindrops Make Finest Wine

Heavy Attack, Containment Tactics and Imminent Oblivion grant the whole team 25% Resonance Skill DMG Bonus for 30 s.

  5. S5

Toast to Past, Today, and Every Day to Come

Imminent Oblivion's DMG multiplier increases by 47%.

  6. S6

As the Curtain Falls, I Remain What I Am

Death Knell shots fire twice as many crystal shards and hit 186.6% harder in total; targets that are hit are briefly immobilized.

Carlotta team comps

Zhezhi's Outro boosts Carlotta's Glacio damage by 20% and her Resonance Skill damage by 25%; Shorekeeper adds healing, a crit bonus and 15% DMG amplification.

Carlotta tips

  • Open the rotation with the Intro Skill; with 30 Substance and 3 Moldable Crystals, you can move straight into Art of Violence and Chromatic Splendor.
  • Do not delay Chromatic Splendor after Art of Violence: It turns crystals into Substance, and the aerial attack you follow up with keeps you immune until it deals damage.
  • If Substance fills up while Tinted Crystal is ready, use Imminent Oblivion; it deals big damage and reduces Art of Violence's cooldown by 6 s.
  • The Final Bow state you enter at full Substance increases Liberation multipliers by 80%; use Liberation in this state and do not leave the field until Twilight Tango ends.
  • Keep Deconstruction active: Intro, Chromatic Splendor, Death Knell and Imminent Oblivion let you ignore 18% of the target's DEF.
  • Keep Carlotta in your team while exploring; the active character's gliding Stamina cost is reduced by 20%.

Common questions

How do you get Carlotta?

Carlotta is a limited 5★ Resonator and can only be pulled with Radiant Tides while her banner is active. She first arrived in version 2.0 with the "When Silence Tolls" banner and returned in the 2.3 anniversary rerun banner and in 2.6.

What is the best Echo set for Carlotta?

5-piece Frosty Resolve; it boosts both Resonance Skill and Glacio damage, which makes it a perfect fit for Carlotta. Use Sentry Construct as your main Echo; it grants 12% Glacio DMG and 12% Resonance Skill DMG.

What is Carlotta's best weapon?

Her signature weapon The Last Dance is by far the best. Phasic Homogenizer and the standard Static Mist are alternatives, and on the 4★ side you can use Thunderbolt and Undying Flame.

Is Carlotta good?

Yes. With an easy-to-learn rotation, she deals high damage to both single targets and groups. In version 3.6 she is still a strong main DPS with Zhezhi + Shorekeeper or Lynae + Mornye.

Which team should you build for Carlotta?

The strongest classic team is Carlotta + Zhezhi + Shorekeeper. A Tune Break team with Lynae and Mornye also works very well; if you do not have Shorekeeper, the 4★ Buling is an economical alternative.

What materials does Carlotta use?

For Ascension she needs Platinum Core from Sentry Construct, Sword Acorus gathered in Rinascita and Polygon Cores. Her skills use the Phlogiston series, Polygon Cores and The Netherworld's Stare from the weekly boss Hecate.
