"Magnetism Before Light" The Ephor of Septimont who never accepts defeat
Augusta started out as an ordinary contender in Septimont's Agon contests and rose all the way to the office of Ephor through a will that refuses to accept defeat. She wields a Broadblade with the Electro element, and her resonance power creates a magnetic field around her that lets her shape metal. After Heavy Attacks empowered by Prowess and the aerial Resonance Skill combo unlocked by Ascendancy, she spends two Majesty stacks to unleash Sublime is the Sun: Time stops for 7 seconds while Augusta lands a rapid series of blows that count as Heavy Attacks. She is the team's main DPS, and because she constantly generates shields for herself, she reaches her peak alongside Iuno.
Augusta is a limited 5★ Resonator and does not appear on the standard banner; you can only pull her with Radiant Tides while her banner is active. She first arrived in the first phase of version 2.6 on August 28, 2025 with the "Eternal Radiance on the Crown" banner, and she got a rerun alongside Iuno in the second phase of version 3.0 (January 15 to February 4, 2026). A 5★ is guaranteed within 80 pulls; your first 5★ has a 50% chance of being the featured character, and if you lose the 50/50, the next 5★ is guaranteed.
3-piece: Upon gaining a Shield, increase the Resonator's ATK by {0} and Crit. DMG by {1} for {3}s. This effect can be triggered once every {4}s and stacks up to {2} times.
Augusta gains a shield every 0.5 s while dealing damage, so the set's ATK and Crit. DMG stacks stay full at all times.
2-piece: Electro DMG + 10%.
For the two slots next to Crown of Valor: Electro DMG +10%.
2-piece: ATK +10%
If your Void Thunder Echoes are weak, you can run 2-piece Lingering Tunes (ATK +10%) instead of 2-piece Void Thunder; it is the second-best combination.
2-piece: Electro DMG + 10%.
5-piece: Electro DMG + 15% after releasing Heavy Attack or Resonance Skill. This effect stacks up to 2 times, each stack lasts 15s.
If you do not have Crown of Valor Echoes yet, 5-piece Void Thunder (easy to farm in Huanglong) with Tempest Mephis is a good transitional option; it stacks Electro DMG after Heavy Attacks and Resonance Skills.
The False Sovereign
In the main slot it grants 12% Electro DMG and 12% Heavy Attack DMG Bonus. It counts toward the Crown of Valor set and is summoned automatically every time you use an Intro Skill, dealing extra Electro damage.
Use the 4-3-3-1-1 layout; about 120% Energy Regen is enough for a smooth Liberation cycle. Her signature weapon only gives 12.15% Crit. Rate, so aim for 70-80% Crit. Rate with a Crit. Rate main stat on the 4-cost Echo.
Signature weapon. Increases ATK by 12% and grants Heavy Attack DMG +20% for 15 s after an Intro or Resonance Skill. Every shield she gains stacks DEF ignore for Heavy Attacks up to 5 times, and Augusta's uninterrupted shields keep it at full stacks.
Jiyan's signature weapon and the strongest alternative, thanks to its 48.6% Crit. DMG main stat and a Heavy Attack DMG Bonus passive that stacks with Intro and Liberation.
Gives 24.3% Crit. Rate and a 12% elemental DMG bonus. Its Resonance Skill bonus only affects a small part of Augusta's damage, so it works mostly as a stat stick.
The best 4★ option: Its 40.5% Crit. DMG main stat and a passive that grants ATK and Heavy Attack DMG Bonus after Liberation suit Augusta very well.
A 4★ with a Crit. Rate main stat. Its ATK bonus stacks up to 5 times on Basic and Heavy Attack hits, which fits a Heavy Attack-focused playstyle.
A 4★ with an ATK% main stat; a backup option that grants a gradual ATK increase for a few seconds after a Resonance Skill.

A four-hit Electro combo plus the Stamina-consuming Heavy Attack - Steelclash; attacks fill up to 100 points of Prowess. When Prowess is full, the Heavy Attack turns into Thunderoar: Backstep and Spinslash, and jumping turns into Thunderoar: Uppercut. The Intro Skill fills Prowess instantly.
Augusta leaps up and brings her Broadblade down to deal Electro damage, filling 10% of Ascendancy. When Ascendancy is full, this skill is replaced by the Undying Sunlight combo from her Forte Circuit.
Normal Attack hits build up to 100 Ascendancy; the Intro grants 20%, the Resonance Skill 10% and the Liberation 40%. When it is full, the Resonance Skill turns into the Undying Sunlight: Strike → Leap → Plunge chain. The airborne Plunge consumes all Ascendancy, counts as Heavy Attack damage and grants 1 Majesty stack.
A tap performs a sweep with Sword of Eternal Oath that counts as a Heavy Attack. With 2 Majesty, hold it to unleash Sublime is the Sun without spending any energy: Time stops for 7 s, and Augusta lands 9 Sunborne strikes before finishing with Everbright Protector (all Heavy Attack damage). Afterward, during the 30-second Ruler's Realm, teammates who use an Intro gain a shield.
Deals Electro damage on entry. It fills Prowess completely and grants 20% Ascendancy, so start every rotation with the Intro to switch straight into empowered Heavy Attacks.
The incoming character gains 15% DMG Amplification for all elements for 14 s (or until they leave the field). When that character uses their own Outro, Augusta gains 1 Majesty and 1 Crown of Wills stack that grants 15% Electro DMG Bonus, so she is ready for Sublime is the Sun when she returns.
While dealing damage, Augusta gains a shield every 0.5 s equal to 350 + 2.5% of her Max HP, lasting 5 s. The shield is small but almost uninterrupted; it is the core mechanic that feeds the Crown of Valor set and Iuno's Blessing of the Wan Light stacks.
After more than 4 s out of combat, Majesty is topped up to 1 if it is below 1, and Crown of Wills fills completely (triggers once every 4 s). This lets you start a new fight halfway ready for Sublime is the Sun.
When the target's Off-Tune level is full, Augusta can perform the Broadblade-specific Tune Break attack. It is a mechanic shared by all Resonators that opens an extra damage window on the staggered enemy.
On a limited budget, S2 is the most efficient stopping point: The Crit. Rate from Crown of Wills makes her build much easier. S3 and S4 are solid steps along the way, while S6 is the ceiling Sequence that changes her gameplay by raising Crown of Wills to 4 stacks.
Each Crown of Wills stack grants an extra 15% Crit. DMG and the stack cap rises to 2. The Intro also grants 1 stack, and the Undying Sunlight combo becomes immune to interruption.

The multipliers of Thunderoar attacks, Undying Sunlight: Plunge and the Sublime is the Sun strikes increase by 25%.

Shields from the Glory's Favor passive are 50% stronger, which makes it easier for Augusta to survive.
The Crown of Wills cap rises to 4. Spinslash and Uppercut grant 2 stacks and trigger two extra Heavy Attack hits (Thunder Rage) worth 100% of ATK. Every 1% Crit. Rate above 150% also grants 2% Crit. DMG (up to 50%).

3-piece Crown of Valor + 2-piece Void Thunder is the best combination; Augusta's constant shield keeps the ATK and Crit. DMG stacks of Crown of Valor full at all times. Use The False Sovereign, which counts toward the same set, as your main Echo.
Her signature weapon Thunderflare Dominion is the best: Its ATK, Heavy Attack DMG and shield-stacked DEF ignore bonus are made for Augusta. Verdant Summit and Ages of Harvest are good alternatives, and on the 4★ side you can use Aureate Zenith and Autumntrace.
Yes. Thanks to her fast rotation, wide AoE damage and a Liberation that stops time for 7 s, she is a reliable Electro main DPS in endgame content. She misses out on some bonuses in Tune Break and Negative Status-focused setups, but her raw damage makes up for it.
The strongest team is Augusta + Iuno + Shorekeeper. You can run a dual DPS team with Phrolova, or build an accessible team with Mortefi and Verina if you do not have Iuno.
For Ascension she needs Blighted Crown of Puppet King from The False Sovereign, Luminous Calendula that grows in Sanguis Plateaus and the Tidal Residuum series. Her skills use the Waveworn Residue series, Tidal Residuum and the weekly material When Irises Bloom from Fleurdelys.
