22. BAFTA Oyun Ödülleri töreni dün gece Londra'daki Queen Elizabeth Hall'da gerçekleşti. 12 adaylıkla gecenin favorisi olan Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, En İyi Oyun ödülünü kazanarak The Game Awards ve Golden Joystick'in ardından bir büyük ödülü daha koleksiyonuna ekledi.
Sandfall Interactive'in ilk oyunu olan Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, BAFTA tarihinde en fazla aday gösterilen çıkış oyunu rekorunu da kırmış oldu. Fransız stüdyonun sıra tabanlı RPG'si, 2025'in en çok ödül kazanan yapımı olma unvanını pekiştirdi.
Gecenin diğer kazananları
Oyun Tasarımı ödülünü bulmaca türünün parlak sürprizi Blue Prince alırken, Animasyon ödülü süper kahraman ofis komedisi Dispatch'e gitti. Sanatsal Başarı kategorisinde ise Sucker Punch Productions'ın açık dünya aksiyon-macera oyunu Ghost of Yōtei sahneye çıktı.
Yardımcı Rol Performansı ödülünü Dispatch'teki Chase rolüyle Jeffrey Wright kazandı. İngiliz Oyunu kategorisinin galibi ise Rebellion'ın post-apokaliptik aksiyon oyunu Atomfall oldu.
Gecenin öne çıkan konuşmaları
Töreni ilk kez içerik üreticisi Elz the Witch sundu. BAFTA Fellowship ödülü ise Supercell'in kurucu ortağı ve CEO'su Ilkka Paananen'e takdim edildi. Paananen, Clash of Clans ve Brawl Stars gibi yapımlarıyla mobil oyun dünyasını şekillendiren isimlerden biri olarak tanınıyor.Tören, London Games Festival kapsamında düzenlendi ve BAFTA'nın 1.700'den fazla oyun sektörü profesyonelinin oylarıyla şekillenen sonuçları yansıtıyor.
