The most common mistake is the spelling of names, since a single wrong letter stops the command from working. How do I make two Sims fall in love?
In the console, run modifyrelationship with LTR_Romance_Main and a value of 100. For romance to work, the friendship bar also needs to be full, so run the same command once more with LTR_Friendship_Main.
Why does modifyrelationship not work?
Almost always because of how the names are spelled. Both Sims' first and last names must match the in-game spelling exactly, and the order matters too. First the first Sim's first and last name, then the second Sim's first and last name, then the value and the relationship type.
Can I make Sims enemies?
Yes, just give a negative value. Type -100 and the two Sims become sworn enemies. The same method works on the romance bar, which helps when you want to end a relationship.
Is there a relationship code for pets?
There is, but it needs the Cats & Dogs pack. Use LTR_SimToPet_Friendship_Main as the relationship type and enter the pet's name like a second Sim, as a first and last name.
