The Sims 4: Fame cheats
The fame system comes with the Get Famous expansion pack, so the codes on this page do not work unless the pack is installed. The famepoints command gives the points you spend to unlock fame perks. Raising fame stars, freezing fame and setting reputation are done from the Shift-click menu, with no typed code at all. The skill and promotion commands for climbing the Actor career are here too.

Raises, lowers or freezes fame
Shift + left-click → Public Image
The options in this menu raise the fame stars, lower them or freeze them where they are. Frozen fame does not fade over time.
- Type testingcheats true in the console.
- Shift-click the Sim.
- Open the Public Image menu; in newer versions it may sit under Pack Cheats.
- Use the option to raise, lower or freeze fame.
Sets reputation to any level
Shift + left-click → Public Image → Set Reputation
Sets the Sim's reputation anywhere between pristine and atrocious.
Maxes the acting skill
stats.set_skill_level Major_Acting 10
Raises the acting skill to the top level. Landing roles in the Actor career depends on this skill.
Promotes in the Actor career
careers.promote Actor
Moves the Sim up one level in the Actor career. Type it several times in a row to reach the top of the career.
Fame cheats: Common questions
How do you become famous with cheats in The Sims 4?
Type testingcheats true in the console, Shift-click the Sim and open the Public Image menu. The option to raise fame there moves the Sim up star by star. In newer versions this menu may sit under the Pack Cheats heading.
Are fame points and fame stars the same thing?
No. Fame stars show how well known the Sim is. The points from the famepoints command are spent on unlocking fame perks and do not raise the stars on their own.
How do I fix my reputation?
The Public Image menu that opens when you Shift-click a Sim has a Set Reputation option. You can set the reputation anywhere between pristine and atrocious.
Do these codes work without Get Famous?
No. Fame, reputation and the Actor career come with that pack. Without it the menu does not appear and the commands do nothing.
