Steam is experiencing an issue that began on Monday afternoon, leaving many players unable to log in. A large number of users opening the Steam client are getting stuck on the “Loading user data” screen and cannot access their game libraries.
According to data Oyun Günlüğü obtained from Downdetector, reports of problems with Steam started rising in the afternoon and quickly climbed past 100. Login issues account for 85% of reports, followed by server connection at 11% and game launching at 2%.
The problem appears limited to the Steam client
While Steam’s Store and Community pages still appear to be working, the Steam client continues to experience issues. Valve has yet to explain the cause of the outage.
