Minecraft /setworldspawn command

Sets the general point where players without a bed spawn.

Syntax

/setworldspawn
/setworldspawn <pos> [<angle>]

Parts in square brackets are optional, parts in angle brackets are required. You do not type the brackets: Put your own value in their place.

Arguments

<pos> The new spawn point. Leave it out to use where you are standing.

Examples

/setworldspawn

Moves the world spawn point to where you are.

/setworldspawn 0 70 0

Fixes the spawn point at these coordinates.

Good to know

  • Compasses point to this spot.
  • For a single player's spawn point, use spawnpoint.

How do I run this command?

Press T in game to open chat (or press / directly), type the command and press Enter. While typing, Tab completes the options. This command counts as a cheat: It needs cheats enabled in a singleplayer world, and operator permission on a server (operator (level 2)).
