Minecraft /kill command
Instantly removes the selected players or mobs.
Syntax
/kill
/kill <targets>
Parts in square brackets are optional, parts in angle brackets are required. You do not type the brackets: Put your own value in their place.
Arguments
| Argument | What it does |
|---|---|
| <targets> | The entities to kill. Leave it out and you kill yourself. |
Examples
/kill @e[type=zombie]
Clears every zombie in the loaded area.
/kill @e[type=item]
Deletes items lying on the ground and reduces server lag.
/kill @e[type=!player]
Kills everything except players.
Good to know
- If you type just @e, everything dies, players included, so be careful.
- Drops fall just as they would in a normal death.
