Relic Entertainment has announced Operation Torch, a new narrative-driven campaign DLC for Company of Heroes 3. Launching on PC on November 25, 2026, it is the first single-player mission content released since the game’s launch.
According to the information Oyun Günlüğü received from Relic Entertainment, Operation Torch is inspired by the Allied campaign in Axis-occupied North Africa. Players take command of an American force during its first major campaign against German troops. Across historically inspired missions, they lead an inexperienced army through hard-fought victories and costly defeats, building it into a seasoned force on the battlefield.
From the landings to Hill 609
The campaign follows the Allied landings in North Africa through an arc that spans the opening invasion, the defeat at Kasserine and the final assault on Hill 609. Drawing on real events, it adapts historical moments into a focused single-player experience built around tactical decision-making and battlefield mastery.
The story is told through the perspectives of three American soldiers, framing the conflict from both command and field-level viewpoints. As the campaign unfolds, their stories reflect the hardships, losses, responsibilities and lessons learned as they are forged into the fighting force that will liberate Europe.
15 missions with distinct tactical scenarios
Operation Torch spans 15 missions that highlight different units and mechanics. From beachfront landings and stealth operations to defensive actions and large-scale assaults, each mission offers a distinct combat scenario, pushing players to master a range of tools, abilities and strategies.
Progression and army customization
A progression system lets players shape their army throughout the campaign. By completing missions and optional objectives, players earn upgrades that allow meaningful choices between missions on how their forces evolve, while army customization lets them build around their preferred playstyle.
