Skyrim: Material and soul gem codes
Gathering materials for smithing and enchanting is one of the longest chores in Skyrim. The codes on this page put dragon bone, dragon scales, ingots, leather and daedra hearts straight into your inventory. Empty and filled soul gems have different IDs, so add the filled ones if you want to enchant right away. The other ingots and the smaller soul gems are in the material generator below.

What is the Skyrim dragon bone code?
The dragon bone ID is 0003ADA4. Type player.additem 0003ADA4 10 into the console to get ten dragon bones, and the ID for dragon scales is 0003ADA3.
What is the difference between filled and empty soul gems?
A filled soul gem holds a soul and works right away at an enchanting table or when you recharge a weapon. An empty one has to be filled first with the Soul Trap spell or a soul-trapping weapon. The two have different IDs.
What are black soul gems for?
Only black soul gems can capture the souls of people, which normal soul gems cannot hold. A filled black soul gem gives the same power as a filled grand soul gem when enchanting.
Can I level Smithing with material codes?
Yes. Take ingots and leather from the console and craft items at a forge, and your Smithing skill improves the normal way. Smelting ore into ingots, however, gives no experience.
