What is the best armor in Skyrim?
In the base game, the Daedric set has the highest armor rating. If you wear light armor, the strongest option is the Dragonscale set.
Can I get a whole armor set with one command?
Every piece has its own ID, so you type the command piece by piece. Five commands cover the body armor, helmet, gauntlets, boots and shield, and the armor generator speeds up picking them.
Which sets are heavy armor and which are light?
The Daedric, Dragonplate and Ebony sets count as Heavy Armor, while the Dragonscale and Glass sets count as Light Armor. The type you wear decides which armor skill improves.
What do I need to improve the armor?
Daedric and Ebony armor is improved with ebony ingots, and Glass armor with refined malachite. Dragonscale pieces use dragon scales, while the Dragonplate body armor and shield use dragon bone. The codes for these materials are on the materials page.
