Hytale: Server commands

Server management is also done from chat or the server console. /op add makes a player an operator, while /kick and /ban keep troublemakers out. To open the server only to people you know, turn on the whitelist and add players one by one.

Most codes here need cheats turned on first. See the section on how to open the console.

Server commands: Common questions

Why doesn't /op self work on a server?
On a dedicated server, /op self only works if the server was started with the --allow-op setting. Otherwise, you grant permission from the server console with /op add PlayerName.
Is there a /deop command?
No. To take a player's permission away, type /op remove PlayerName.
