Minecraft /me command

Prints an action line in chat that starts with your name: * Faruk opened the door.

Syntax

/me <action>

Parts in square brackets are optional, parts in angle brackets are required. You do not type the brackets: Put your own value in their place.

Arguments

Argument	What it does
<action>	Text added after your name. Target selectors (like @a) turn into player names.

Examples

/me found diamonds!

Prints the line "* Faruk found diamonds!" in chat.

Good to know

Common on roleplay servers; it does not affect the game in any way.

How do I run this command?

Press T in game to open chat (or press / directly), type the command and press Enter. While typing, Tab completes the options. This command needs no cheats; every player can use it.
