Minecraft /help command

Lists every command on the server; give it a command name and it prints that command's syntax.

Syntax

/help

/help <command>

Parts in square brackets are optional, parts in angle brackets are required. You do not type the brackets: Put your own value in their place.

Arguments

Argument	What it does
<command>	Name of the command you want details for. Leave it out and the full list is printed.

Examples

/help

Lists every command you can use, all at once.

/help effect

Shows only the ways to use the effect command.

Good to know

Works even with cheats off: A player without permissions only sees the commands they can use.
If you type / in chat and wait, autocomplete already gives you the same information.

How do I run this command?

Press T in game to open chat (or press / directly), type the command and press Enter. While typing, Tab completes the options. This command needs no cheats; every player can use it.
