According to information Oyun Günlüğü obtained from Kuro Games, Version 3.8 continues the main story with Chapter 4 Act 5, “A Bouquet for Tomorrow.” The update also marks the beginning of the world and narrative setting of Version 4.0, giving players a first glimpse of the next chapter of Wuthering Waves. Kuro Games says more details on Version 4.0 will be shared soon.

New Resonator Lily joins Wuthering Waves in Version 3.8, alongside the new weapon Lullaby. The update also introduces Hiyuki’s Deluxe Outfit, Lune Noire, and her new accessory, Flaming Sakura.
New events and Tactical Hologram

The update brings the leisure events Second Coming of Solaris: Unwritten Dreams, Lahai-Roi Blocks: Turnabout and Lollo Campaign: Groundwork, along with the combat event Dreamfield Odyssey. Improvements for Rover and material farming

When claiming rewards after a material collection challenge, players can enable the new Blitz Mode to restart the challenge without reloading. Resonator animations have also been optimized, focusing on turning in place, movement transitions and combat hit reactions for smoother controls and improved visual quality.
PC and console updates
On PC, new launcher options let players choose between Full Resources and Basic Resources, while an upgraded Resource Cleanup feature helps manage game resources and free up storage space. These features are rolling out gradually as part of a limited test, with further details to come through official announcements.
On supported consoles, players can select Performance or Quality under Graphics Quality settings. This setting is currently unavailable on PS5 and XBOX Series S. On PS5 Pro, players can enable PlayStation Spectral Super Resolution (PSSR) to enhance image resolution up to 4K.
