Forza Horizon 6 puts the spotlight on Horizon Japan’s urban racing with its new City Life update. The update adds two permanent race routes to Tokyo City: Edo Circuit Road Race and Shuto Charge Street Race.
According to information Oyun Günlüğü obtained from Forza’s official website, the update became available for download on Steam on November 2 at 6:00 PM UTC. The City Life Festival Playlist starts on November 5 at 2:30 PM UTC. Based on community feedback, the team has also reduced the number of Festival Playlist points required to unlock new cars. The aim is to make new cars easier to earn for all players, including those without access to the game’s online content.
Five cars join the Festival Playlist
The City Life series introduces three new-to-Horizon cars: the 2016 Honda S660 Alpha, the 2025 Citroën Ami, and the 1987 Fiat Panda. The Honda S660 Alpha and Citroën Ami both come with body kit upgrades. The 2011 Alfa Romeo Giulietta Quadrifoglio Verde and the 1966 Hillman Imp also return from previous games.
The Honda S660 Alpha is earned with 60 points between November 5 and December 3. The other cars are spread across the seasons, each costing 15 points: the Citroën Ami in the Summer season (November 5-12), the Alfa Romeo Giulietta in Autumn (November 12-19), the Fiat Panda in Winter (November 19-26), and the Hillman Imp in Spring (November 26-December 3).
Players can also earn the Tower Power badge and new car horns during the series. The Edamame Time Attack Circuit, first released with the Horizon Mascot Party update, returns to the Horizon Stadium for this series.
Celebrating 25 years of XBOX and Halo
The update also celebrates 25 years of XBOX and Halo. A special livery for the 2025 GR GT Prototype will be sent to all players via Message Center. The Master Chief Outfit can be unlocked in the Week 2 Photo Challenge of the Festival Playlist. In the same week, players who find 15 Gashapon Machine collectibles at Daikoku will earn the Halo Shield Recharge car horn.
Ikea props arrive in Custom Garages
To celebrate the new gaming-inspired collection from XBOX and Ikea, Custom Garage builders now have access to the 35-piece Ikea Prop Pack. Alongside Kallax and Billy shelving, Lack coffee tables, and Sanela cushions, the pack includes controller-themed Yxstaby furniture and Varmblixt lamps.
Four new cars come to the Car Pass
Car Pass delivers a new car to players’ garages every Thursday. The upcoming lineup is the 2025 Ford Mustang GTD on November 5, the 2025 Volkswagen Electric Buzz on November 12, the 1983 Nissan 240RS on November 19, and the 2025 Porsche Macan GTS on November 26. Car Pass is included with the Deluxe and Premium Editions and the Premium Upgrade, and Standard Edition owners can purchase it separately.
Leaderboards are being wiped
The update adds a new filter to the Garage and Autoshow menus that shows the special restrictions in the active Playlist, helping players see which cars they can use before buying or driving them. Solo Seasonal Championships now use the player’s chosen difficulty. A bug that prevented players from placing stickers over the windshield banner of the 1990 Nissan #12 Skyline GT-R has been fixed. Points will also be awarded retroactively for certain daily and weekly challenges that some players were unable to complete in earlier series.
As announced in July, the team is fully wiping the PR Stunts leaderboards, covering Danger Signs, Drift Zones, Speed Zones, Trailblazers, and Speed Traps. The decision follows fixes for exploits that allowed unrealistic scores. Collection Journal items earned through these records will remain unlocked.
Holiday update coming in December
In December, Forza Horizon 6 will receive the Horizon Holidays update with a new permanent race route and three new-to-Horizon cars. The game’s first expansion will release on Steam on January 21. Premium Edition and Premium Upgrade owners will be able to play it on day one.
