The release date for the long-awaited Coaches DLC for Euro Truck Simulator 2 has been revealed. The expansion, which puts players in the driver’s seat as coach drivers, will be released on November 12, 2026.
According to information Oyun Günlüğü obtained from SCS Software’s official blog, the studio’s video team has also put together an official trailer to celebrate the announcement, offering a look at what’s coming with this new addition to Euro Truck Simulator 2.
Three licensed coaches
Coaches will introduce a whole new way to travel across Europe. Players will be able to drive three officially licensed coach vehicles: Scania Touring, Volvo 9700 DD and MAN Lion’s Coach. Each coach offers its own driving experience along with a range of customisation options, from chassis configurations and engine choices to interior trims and accessories. Players can purchase their own coach, take on passenger transport jobs and explore the roads of Euro Truck Simulator 2 from a completely new perspective.
Passenger comfort and timetables
Driving a coach brings a new set of challenges. With passengers on board, smooth and careful driving matters more than ever. Players will need to take corners carefully, avoid harsh braking and keep an eye on the G-force indicator to keep passengers comfortable. They will also have to balance passenger satisfaction with keeping to the timetable while navigating busy roads, manoeuvring through bus stations, and picking up and dropping off passengers along the route.
Three types of jobs
The DLC offers a job for every kind of journey. Players can start with Quick Jobs to earn money before buying their own coach, or take on Contract Jobs with their own vehicle, operating scheduled passenger services with multiple stops and timetables. For a more relaxed experience, Tourist Jobs let players take passengers on scenic trips to famous landmarks and attractions.
More updates planned
SCS Software also stated that it plans to keep expanding the Coaches DLC over time with future updates, adding more licensed coach vehicles, new customisation options and additional features. Players who want to be notified at launch can add Coaches to their Steam wishlist.
