Red Dead Redemption 2: Weapon cheats

In RDR2, weapons come in sets, and there are four of them. The basic set gives you the weapons from the start of the story, the heavy set gives you combat weapons, the gunslinger set gives you gunslinger weapons, and the stealth set is aimed at players who like to stay quiet. The heavy and stealth sets and the infinite ammo code all require you to find the matching newspaper first.

Weapon cheats: Common questions

Which newspaper do the weapon codes need?
The heavy weapons, stealth weapons and infinite ammo codes require you to buy a specific newspaper issue. If you type the code without buying the newspaper, the menu will not accept it. The basic and gunslinger weapon sets do not need a newspaper.
Does infinite ammo remove reloading?
Your ammo never runs out, but the weapon's own reload animation still plays. So ammo stops being a worry, but the reload time stays.
Do the weapon codes delete the weapons I have?
No, the set is added to your inventory. The weapons you already own stay where they are.
