Wanted and bounty cheats: Common questions
Are being wanted and having a bounty the same thing?
No. Being wanted is the chase in progress and applies while lawmen are after you. A bounty builds up region by region and stays until you pay it or clear it. There are separate codes for each.
Why does the bounty removal code not work?
This code does not need a newspaper. If the menu does not accept it, make sure you typed the full sentence with its spaces.
What is the point of raising your wanted level?
It is for players who want to draw the lawmen on purpose. A practical way to try out chases and gunfights.
