OGTOOLS

Bannerlord: Troops, items and companions

The commands that fill up your army and your inventory are here. The troop command saves you hours of recruiting while you prepare for a siege. The item command puts any weapon or armor in the game straight into your inventory, so you do not have to go from merchant to merchant looking for it.

Most codes here need cheats turned on first. See the section on how to open the console.

Troops, items and companions: Common questions

Which troop name do I type in the troop command?
It wants the game's internal troop ID, which is not always the same as the name you see on screen. Run the command on its own and the console shows the format it expects, which helps you find the right name.
With cheat mode on, do merchants show every item?
Yes, with cheat mode on you can access every item in the game in the inventory and trade screens. If you do not want to type commands, this alone is enough.
Who does the companion command add?
It adds random companions from the game's pool. You cannot pick a specific companion; for that, you need to look around the taverns.
