Drag the characters from the pool into the S, A, B, C, D, F rows above. S means the strongest or a favorite and F the weakest; the ranking depends entirely on your meta and play style. When you are done, save the image with Download PNG and share your list with Copy link.
The list is kept up to date with 82 characters; new characters drop into the pool automatically. Drag and drop works with your finger on mobile too.
Every character in Honkai: Star Rail follows a Path, and the Path decides their job in the team. Destruction and Erudition deal area damage, The Hunt melts single targets, Harmony speeds the team up, Nihility weakens enemies, Preservation holds shields and Abundance heals. Putting them all in one list leaves a healer unfairly low next to a damage dealer.
Element choice changes the fight too: Having the element that matches an enemy's weakness shortens the time it takes to break their toughness. The pool holds the current roster; hover over a card to see a character's rarity, element and Path.
Common questions
What does Path mean?
It is the classification that sets a character's role. Destruction and The Hunt are on the damage side, Harmony and Nihility on the support side, Preservation and Abundance on the survival side.
What should my ranking be based on?
The content you play. In timed content like Memory of Chaos, speed and area damage come first; in long fights, healing and shields matter more.
