HoYoverse has announced that Honkai: Star Rail Version 4.7, titled “Now, Lay Laughter to All Stars,” will launch on November 11. Serving as the finale of the Planarcadia arc, the update marks the debut of Aeon Aha as a limited 5-star character.
According to the information Oyun Günlüğü received from HoYoverse, the leviathan known as the Voracity, kept sealed for over a thousand Amber Eras by Aha’s “Phantasmoon Games,” is on the verge of fully awakening. To stop it from regaining its strength and devouring the universe, Aha summons eight Supplicants to stage the “Final Phantasmoon Games.” The stage for this grand scheme is the Starfroster, a sweet, cake-like ship that will sail across the stars to lure the Voracity. Aha will also stand alongside the Trailblazer in the showdown that will decide the fate of the universe.
Aeon Aha’s combat mechanics
On the Path of Elation, Aeon ★ Aha causes the Path to ascend for Elation characters, unlocking unique combat abilities for each of them. Aha also stars in the new “Aha Instant” mechanic, fast-forwarding the performances of Elation Skills. During battle, the entire team continuously builds up Wishpower for Aha, and once it is full, the Ultimate can be activated to deal Elation DMG to all enemies. Empowered by Aha’s Aeonic Authority, ally attacks can also directly reduce enemies’ Max HP.
Character reruns and the Affinitive Eidolon system
Silver Wolf LV.999, Sparxie, and Yao Guang will return in the first half of Version 4.7, while Acheron, Dan Heng Imbibitor Lunae, and Jing Yuan will be available again in the second half. The update also introduces a new growth system called Affinitive Eidolon. Players who own the designated characters and unlock their Affinitive Eidolons will gain new additional abilities for them in combat, with Acheron, Dan Heng • Imbibitor Lunae, and Jing Yuan being the first characters to benefit.
New events and content
In the new version event “The Fluffy Movie: Overheated,” players help Aha run a dessert shop to earn Gold Coins, while the combat event “Interastral Peace Gala: Road to Fame” runs at the same time. The permanent mode Currency Wars receives a comprehensive update with its second season, “Voyage Into the Canvas.” By joining the “Phantasia Showstage” event, players can earn Aeon Aha’s limited outfit “Star Lotto” along with other rewards. The animated short “A Joyful Funeral Beneath the Moon” will be released on launch day, and a new track called “Ex Nihilo” will accompany Aha’s grand performance in the finale of the Planarcadia arc.
Honkai: Star Rail is available on PC, iOS, Android, Epic Games Store, and PS5, and has surpassed 150 million total downloads across all platforms. In 2023, the game won Apple’s App Store iPhone Game of the Year, Google Play’s Best Game, and Best Mobile Game at The Game Awards. In 2024, it received the Golden Joystick Awards Still Playing Award (Mobile) and a Partner Award at the PlayStation Partner Awards 2024. The game is rated Teen by the ESRB and PEGI 12.
