About Water Bottle
The Water Bottle is the first step of brewing. With an empty Glass Bottle in hand, right-click a water source or a water-filled cauldron and the bottle fills. Glass Bottles are made from three glass and you get three at a time.
Add Nether Wart to a water bottle in a Brewing Stand and you get an Awkward Potion. Almost every useful potion is brewed by adding one ingredient on top of that Awkward Potion. Adding a Fermented Spider Eye straight to a water bottle gives a Potion of Weakness; most other ingredients turn it into a Mundane Potion with no effect.
Drinking it does nothing. Right-clicking dirt with it turns the dirt into mud, and brewing it with gunpowder makes a throwable Splash Water Bottle.
