What is Copper Chain used for?
The copper chain is the copper version of the normal chain: It is made from two copper nuggets and one copper ingot. The nuggets go in the top and bottom squares and the ingot in the middle.
It is the most practical piece for hanging lanterns from the ceiling: Used with a copper lantern, it holds the light source at whatever height you want. On its own it is also a decorative piece you can hang on walls or ceilings.
Like other copper blocks, it oxidizes over time and changes color, which is purely visual. To freeze its color at its current stage, wax it with honeycomb; you can scrape the wax off later with an axe.
